So lately I have been getting into AI like most of the world. One thing that I noticed is that many people don't know how to go about AI. Although sometimes I feel the same way, this is not for the lack of information or areas to explore. However most of the relationships I have with regulars is more about fear and freeze. They have no idea how to research or how to start. I notice that for most of the 'normies' friends, learning something has to do more with their academic experience of school, tests and courses.
For most of them they are unable to go into a chat about a topic, say AI Marketing, and develop relationships and mentorship through the conversations of the chat. I know it sound silly, but is pretty mind blowing how impotent they feel in such scenarios.
Even with AI, they can't seem to organize their thoughts and formulate intelligent questions to get the ball rolling. They are limited to ask, please recommend a book or a clip about it and then call it a day. Which seems absurd as they all well know they have more questions than that. But they feel like the questions are too dumb to ask around.
Other things are jumping into action. Most of my days on Instagram I spend it forwarding posts about AI and other things like crypto, trading, Japan, Hiphop and other topics relevant to the relevant contact. I share a good deal of AI content to my friends that I am trying to work on those areas, but they have never sent me information back. And whenever I message them about stuff, they are either just getting started, or have completely forgot about it.
These things kept happening with a show I watched about business, called, The Fixer. The show wasn't anything tech related but it was management related and how business work and can improve. The show showed a lot of very interesting information like updating to technological tools, the use of better machinery to upgrade their production and update their price models so they can get more and better revenue. I send it to one of my friends, and after months, I asked him if he ever watched to, for him to just telling me he hasn't. Highly frustrating!!!
To that same tune, I wonder if they ever watched the posts, or click the links or even train their Instagram algorithm to find these type of content by themselves. At the end, is not only me that have access to the algo or can train it to serve my interests.
Going back to the business conversation I had with my friend. I have tried to push him harder into getting over himself. Making him realize that he is the biggest obstacle to overcome in order to get things done. I have challenge him to build a schedule with deadlines, to use AI to build a program to get to the goals and finally to dedicate serious time to work on those goals.
A thing that came back around and around is that most of the things that I told him, he already knew in principle. But from concept to actually do it, is a completely different story. He knows things aren't easy at the beginning, and you need dedication and discipline. Which means, dedicate serious time, focus on the tasks and keep doing it over and over until is done. Hearing it however, from someone else, is a different story, as he didn't seem to grasp the concept of doing this until I told him.
I also mentioned the concept of 'showering with relevant information' which means research on his own for sources, contacts and related videos. Looking for mentors is also something that can be done through participation on communities and chats, even on social networks, you can not only follow but offer them money to show them you are serious about learning from them. Looking for mentors can be fun, specially when you can give them crypto for their attention. That is something that will definitely stand out of the 'possible' bunch of people wanting to learn.
You can send them 5, 10, or 20 bucks for the time spent on your zoom/X/Instagram session (although I prefer jitsi or mumble), and just record it and have the AI analyze it and analyze it even at a deeper level. You can use tech like e-checks which are money held on a temporary account until is claimed by the third party. Many tipping bots use to have this for X or Telegram users.
These combinations will allow you to generate a network of highly competent contacts that can help you support his individual questions regarding a specific topic and help him research and test his theories. But none of that will be of use if you don't actually go about implementing these information and just keeping it storing in your brain with no actual use of it.
So, will normies ever crack the shell? I am not sure, I hope they do, they have everything they need to do it. But only time will tell. I wonder how many people experience that similar situation and have a will to breakthrough.
