Hello friends, welcome to my blog. I hope you all have a beautiful Sunday. Part of my duty and commitment to hive is to encourage my friends who are inactive and who find it difficult to write articles due to time factors to explore other interesting aspects of hive. Everyone wants to grow on hive, but efforts are required to make a move that will lead to success.

So yesterday, my mum gave me a surprise visit and I decided to make a nice dish for her. I went to my favorite food store, which is a listed store to get chicken and other food stuff for the dish. While there, I was making a snap and replying to comments on wave, @Beccatessy2 asked how I managed to handle so many things at the same time with writing, commenting, cooking, and managing people. She loves my energy and consistency on hive and feels it's something she can't achieve.
I corrected her thinking and explained to her about the importance of setting simple goals. I asked her if she didn't see the messages on the group concerning the meet-up; setting goals, building our HP, and being consistent on Hive so that we can be more visible and also help the platform strive. She explained that she's not on the general group, so I showed her and explained to her about the recent happenings on hive, the creation of a new community @hivegrowthhub and the action everyone is taking to grow their HP by being consistent on hive so they can have something to stake either daily, weekly or monthly.
Knowing fully well that creating time to write articles was her major setback, I introduced her to @ecencywaves and @peakd #snaps. She was surprised when I told her that she could simply post a picture with a sentence and she had done something for the day. She was happy about it and asked me to do mine so she could see. I took a picture and showed her how to go about it and also encouraged her to reply to people's posts if she also wants engagement on her post. She tried and made her first post on #waves about an African delicacy she was eating.
I also assisted her in joining the recent curation team that is needed to boost our presence on hive and support quality content on hive. She was happy to learn about other means to be active on hive through microblogging and just commenting. I also told her to reach out to the mentor so she could be added to the general group where we receive daily tips on how to grow on hive.
Happy to learn something new.
I promised her I would go over it with her again until she got used to it and will also show her different aspects of #microblogging. While there, I met with some customers, which I told about #spendhbd project and encouraged her to always create #hive and #spendhbd awareness at her business because since it's her store, the customers will listen and believe in the project more when the information is coming directly from the store owner.
Later, I got a call from another hiver who also needed help. I assisted her and also encouraged her to read other people's articles and engage with them, and she said and I quote "I always love calling you because you are patient, and I always learn something new from you whenever I call."
I was touched by those words and also happy to be of help with the little knowledge I have.
The hive meet-up was really impactful, and I learned a lot as if I had attended in person just by reading through the articles from those that attended in Aba.
May we continue to encourage and build each other up
I'm thrilled to write my first article in this community @hivegrowthhub, with love from @kachy2022 ❤️ 💕
