Hi friends, Nothing is as beautiful as creating awareness about Hive in both private and public places. The assurance I have of Hive gives me the confidence to talk to strangers about the platform with conviction and trust.
Our local guide @beauty197 mentioned trying a hive road show in a public busy place like a stadium. Saturdays are always the busiest in the stadium as people usually flood there for sports, businesses, and other activities. Information was posted on the group, and we were all encouraged to support the movement because it will be more fun and attractive when we are in groups.
We had fliers to easily start conversations and mainly targeted those we viewed, which would have keen interest and try to explore more about the platform. The road show gave us the opportunity to meet and onboard two friends @danielfolarin and @vandan who we took time to explain the prospect of Hive, how they can get tokens by creating original content, engaging with others and being consistent.
@danielfolarin asked a series of questions as to what he can post and what he shouldn't. He also asked if Hive was real or just audio money. We explained to them and showed them different exchanges where Hive can be converted to our local currency easily.
We also helped them download and navigate through ecency. They were able to do their first waves and engage with others. We informed them that by consistently engaging with others, they would make friends and feel more comfortable using the platform.
Our first road show was a success, and next time, we will be better prepared to go back at an earlier time when we can meet more people, so look out for more experiences about our next road show.
It was cool being on Hive branded shirts. It made it unique and created its own awareness. It was fun meeting some members of our team who came out to support Lagos First Hive Show @Iquo @ozibaby and @beauty197 the local guide.
