Hello, night owls, It's midnight here, and I welcome you to my blog. The #prompt for this week is horror movies, and I want to share my scariest movie with you all. I'm actually still up because I'm not feeling too well, and I've been purging as well. It started after I woke up from my nap yesterday on saturday evening. Since then, it's been me and the other nature room. So back to my movie A Quiet Place if you've seen this movie, then you will understand why I chose it. This is one movie that scared the hell out of me, and to make it worse, we saw it at night. It was an interesting movie with a good storyline that would keep any movie lover wanting more and glued to the screen.

Can you imagine being in a world where you can't talk to express yourself, not because you are dumb, but because being quiet is the only thing that can keep you alive? Well, that's the case of the family, Lee, and Evelyn with their children trying to survive in a country that seems haunted by blind but extremely sound sensitive creatures. The brains of the creatures are like sound detectors that can pick even whispers from a distance and appear suddenly to destroy whatever it is making the sound.

The family had to rely on signs and gestures to communicate, which wasn't easy for the children. Children can't attend school, they can't listen to loud music unless they use headphones, they can't have audio toys as the sound can attract the creatures as it did at the opening scene of the movie when Regan gave her little brother an audio toy that the father collected just to make him happy. That single act cost his life. When he turned it on, happy and playing like a child, not knowing what awaited him. His father Lee tried his best to save him, but the creatures were faster, and they got to the boy before the father could. It was a scary opening scene that told everyone to get ready for what was going to unfold.

The movie is based on survival, family, love, and sacrifices. To protect his children, their father had to sacrifice himself. It was really a touching and scary movie.

The scariest scene was when Evelyn was due for labor, and as she went to the underground room, a nail got into her leg. Imagine having labor pains and then being struck by a nail, and yet you can't scream and cry to your heart content. How she endured pains and singlehandedly gave birth in a bathtub, doing everything in her power to protect her child even in the face of danger shows great sacrifice and love.

This is a must watch movie, and I recommend it as 10/10 for you to watch if you haven't watched it already.

This is my entry for this week's #prompt on horror #movies, and I'm submitting my entry at exactly 1:15am midnight. Sweet dreams to you all. ๐Ÿ˜ด โœจ๏ธ ๐Ÿ’– ๐Ÿ’“ ๐Ÿ’•
