Hello, dear community!
As part of the contest, I'd like to share with you what Christmas markets look like in one of Poland's largest and most popular tourist cities – Cracow.
Cracow is a city located in southern Poland, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It lies on Poland's longest river, the Wisla. It was once the country's capital. It is a city rich in culture and history, boasting numerous tourist attractions, most notably its architectural monuments, including Wawel Castle. It is also one of the leading city in Poland in terms of educating young people and a huge number of students live here. Adding to this the significant number of tourists visiting Cracow, it is not difficult to say that the city is besieged by a large number of people.
During the fairs, dozens of stalls will be set up in the city market square, where you can try regional and international dishes, buy various products and souvenirs, and, of course, drink delicious, hot mulled wine.
The fair is visited by countless people from all over Poland and beyond. They come to sample the cuisine and wine, buy souvenirs, view beautiful Christmas decorations, or simply enjoy the holiday spirit.

The decorations in the Cracow market square are truly impressive, especially the beautiful Christmas tree, of which I unfortunately lost the photos somewhere :(

The Christmas stalls are beautifully lit and look amazing in the evening.

It's not just people you can meet at fairs ;)

St. Mary's Basilica towers over the market square and the fairs
While visiting the fairs, it is also worth taking a walk around the entire market square and admiring its architecture. It is the largest square in the city. It is also one of the largest market squares in Europe!

There's still a lot of time left until Christmas, but I think it's worth mentioning these Christmas markets now. Many people plan these trips in advance, and it's worth looking for accommodation in Cracow now. The later it gets, the harder it is to find a pleasant or affordable place to stay.
That's all from me today. I wish you all a nice day (or evening)!
