Colorfull morning by Zywiec Lake.
Hello, dear community. How are you today?
While browsing through my hard drive of older photos, I came across a morning outdoor shoot I did one winter morning at Lake Zywiec. More about the lake itself here.
I arrived at the site about two hours before sunrise. After setting up my gear, I took a thermos of coffee and breakfast from my backpack and ate a bit while the sky was still clear.
Overall, things looked rather bleak, as most of the sky was covered in clouds. However, with each passing minute, the clouds were thinning out. The sun was getting closer to the horizon and slowly began painting the sky with a variety of colors.
The first burst of color was short-lived, and it looked like the spectacle was over. It was cold, and I was tired after a hard week at work. So I decided to gather my gear and head to my car. But then it all started again. The colors exploded with even greater force. I quickly removed my camera from back, set it on a tripod, and took the series of photos shown below.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to photograph the sunrise. The clouds effectively prevented me from doing so. I want to go to the exact same spot in the autumn time and see how the morning sun illuminates the colorful leaves.
This morning and the opportunity to observe beautiful natural phenomena brought me so much peace and relaxation. Landscape photography is the best way for me to escape my problems and worries. Do you feel the same way? What does photography offer you besides beautiful images and the opportunity to capture memories? Let me know in the comments.
