A Wonderful Day with a Friend and Delicious Kwek Kwek

Hello my beloved readers! How are you? I hope you are doing fine today. For today's blog, I want to feature a dear friend of mine and our happy moments savoring a yummy street food "kwek kwek". Look at its color and texture 😍one can't wait to taste it.} I want to share about a unique experience I had with Ms. Jennifer Cinco, my former teacher who is now a dear friend, today. Because we are working mothers, we frequently have busy schedules with little time for leisure. But we did manage to steal a few priceless moments to spend together, savoring some delectable street cuisine, and enjoying each other's company. A Wander Through Time We had a regular busy day, but before our part-time employment started, we had some free time. I convinced Ms. Cinco to accompany me for a quick stroll outside rather than confined to the walls of our office. I couldn't wait to taste the delicious street food stand my sister had told me about.  _{This is the food stall which offers lot of street foods; one of the best sellers is the kwek kwek.} Exploring Kwek Kwek's Delight We went to a little stand in Bogo City, Cebu, next to Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges, across from Dela Ramas Cakeshop. The stall’s specialty was kwek kwek, a well-known street snack in the Philippines that's made from quail eggs coated in an orange batter and perfectly deep-fried. I have tasted other kwek kwek before, but this one was unique. Before being cooked, the quail eggs were rolled in flour, and deep-fried until their outsides were golden and crispy. We received three pieces for only twenty pesos, which was more than enough to satiate our appetites. I can honestly say that it was the greatest kwek kwek I've ever tasted, with each bite delivering an explosion of flavor.  _{I took a picture together with ma'am Jen while we are enjoying our kwek kwek.} Cool Lemon Juice To pair with our kwek kwek, we bought some cool lemon juice in the stall. The cool, tart lemon juice went perfectly with the crispy, spicy kwek kwek. As we stood beside the stall, chatting and relishing our food, we were not only appreciating the delicacies but also the unique chance to unwind and bond. A Friendly Reminder to Relax I urge everyone to make time for friends amidst your hectic commitments. These little bursts of activity, whether it's a leisurely stroll or a fast snack run, can make a big difference in your day by lowering stress levels.
