El día de hoy les quiero mostrar el proceso de elaboración de un caketopper de letra inicial hecho en cartulina metalizada, cartulina doble faz y foami escarchado.
Today I want to show you the process of making an initial letter caketopper made of metallic cardboard, double-sided cardboard and frosted foam.
- En primer lugar, busco los materiales de inspiración que elegí para combinar en mi caketopper. Estos materiales los elijo dependiendo de lo que el cliente me pida y lo que éste quiera transmitir o combinar con su pastel. En esta ocasión me pidieron un topper de tonos dorados, para una señora y muy brillante.
También saco los moldes que vaya a utilizar (si quieren que les enseñe cómo los hago y cómo los plasmo en el material, háganmelo saber y con gusto les explico)
-First, I look for the inspirational materials that I chose to combine in my caketopper. These materials I choose depending on what the client asks me and what he wants to convey or combine with his birthday cake. This time they asked me for a topper in golden tones, for a lady and very bright.
I also take out the molds that I am going to use (if you want me to show you how I make them and how I translate them into the material, let me know and I will gladly explain)
- Corto mis figuras ya en el material que elegí. En este caso, decidí hacer la letra central de tres capas, por lo que recorté la letra ''R'' tres veces, pero cada una un poco más gruesa que la anterior siguiendo el orden en que quería que fueran los colores.
También hago los ornamentos que quiero añadirle.
-I cut my figures already in the material I chose. In this case, I decided to make the center letter in three layers, so I cut out the letter '' R '' three times, but each one a little thicker than the previous one following the order in which I wanted the colors to be.
I also make the ornaments that I want to add to it.
- Lo último que hago es ensamblar todos los componentes y colocarle un palito de altura para poder encajarlo en el pastel.
- The last thing I do is assemble all the components and place a tall stick to fit it into the cake.
