HAPPY NEW WEEK
I've had an early start and busy day visiting my granddaughter. She lives just over an hour away, that is aslong as the roads are quite which they never are. I would be much happier if I lived closer so I could see her more but unfortunately that's not going to happen so I have to enjoy what time we have together.
It was a wet drive going there, the weather got worse the closer to there home, thankfully it eased of when we got there. We do pass a lot of countryside which was covered in fog spoiling the view.
If I ever got the chance as in winning the lottery I would certainly move there, the houses are really expensive as its a beautiful little village, its also a very popular place that is always busy. We have seen some lovely bungalows there but they are way out of our reach.
We spent a few hours playing with my granddaughter, she loves to cover the floor with cushions from the sofas then jumping on to them. The whole time we were there she giggled and laughed. She's a lovely little girl with a massive personality,a massive heart and really polite. She makes me so proud,I love her so much. I love making memories with her. I asked her what she would like nana and grandy to buy her for Christmas she said a pen, one coloured pen. Bless her she is only 3.
We left before it started getting dark and hoping we had got on the road before the traffic starts sadly we got stuck in some, the weather wasn't great, the wind was getting stronger. It was dark when we got home, I'm tired, worn out and very sore but very happy for spending time with her, she makes me happy.
I have nothing planned for tomorrow plus hubby has plans for a game of golf so that means I can enjoy a lie in with my pups, they strength very happy after having to get up early this morning. I may do more house clearing before taking my bedding to the dog shelter on Wednesday, we have quite a few thick hoody blankets that we have had for a couple of years, I may bag them up and buy some new longer ones, hubby and my daughter lived in them last Winter. I buy mine from the OHS site as they are good quality and not expensive.
That's me done for today, hubby has decided to cook my tea for me, U have him well trained. I'll be having an early night and nice lie in tomorrow.
