HAPPY THURSDAY EVERYONE
I've had a busy day, up around 8am as had to take the dreaded tablet. I did some research on it late last night as I couldn't sleep, I really should have done research before taking them, I'm on to my 7th week, its one a week on a Thursday morning on a empty stomach and standing for 30 minutes. I've been taking the tablet with mineral water thinking that was OK but after my research they can only be taken with tap water.
Alendronic acid works best on an empty stomach because your body can absorb it properly. Do not take alendronic acid with still or sparkling mineral water, tea, coffee, juice or milk. These drinks can affect the way the medicine works by reducing how much is absorbed. Take your medicine with tap water. Taken from Google
I hate tap water, it tastes nasty even though our provider says its OK to drink I dont believe them after reading about the contamination. After drinking nearly 2 pints of tap water I then had to go out for my yearly Diabetic blood test, then had to go pick my medication up from the pharmacy, me and hubby decided we needed a treat so we took ourselfs off to Green Fingers a garden center that is just 5 minutes away from where we live, they have a lovely restaurant called The Potting Shed. We both had a cheese omelette with a Cappuccino plus I bought a fresh orange juice to freshen my mouth after the tap water. When we were leaving the shop we noticed they had a sale on bird feeders, I bought one too hang on our apple tree. It looks really good plus it has a solar light that will look good when it's getting dark.
It was only £9.99 plus had to buy a bag of bird seed, I'm considering going back to buy a couple more, we don't get many small birds in our garden these should help them hang around a bit longer. We do get quite a few Magpies, Seagulls and Pigeons, I'm hoping they don't see the bird feeder.
Hubby has been out buying more flowers, our front garden is packed full with flowers and pots, as it's our back garden, I'm secretly pleased our sure garden isn't tidied out or that would be packed too, think our bank manager will have a fit.
It was then home again for a couple of hours before I drop hubby off at Golf as he has a competition, Im then going to pick my daughter up from work so we can go for a shop at home bargains, I'll see how much the bird feeders are there. Once we have spent up at Home bargains it will be home to wait for hubbys phone call to say he needs picking up, this only happens now and again so can manage most of the time.
We are having yet another Heatwave even though today is supposed to be a lot cooler, its roasting, its nearly 4pm with the temp still hitting 30°, I can't stand the heat anymore, I feel like I'm melting. Hubby is going to be so hot playing Golf, he will be shattered when he gets home.
