HAPPY SUNDAY
Its been a busy day for me, I haven't been out all week trying to save myself for Saturday shopping with hubby and his mum, I haven't managed to go for a few weeks due to my health or my pup Mikas health, but today I got up early showered and ventured out.
We have a beautiful farm close to us called Penshaw Monument farm, they have there own Butchers, Cake Shop, Vegetable shop, Fresh Flavoured Milk, garden center plus a lovely cafe. Me and hubby didn't have any breakfast at home saving ourselfs for a breakfast out. Once we had finished shopping there we took our purchases back home to put straight in the fridge plus to check on my furbabies Mika & Luna. Our next stop was doing the weekly shop, We had a good look around the store, always on the hunt for a bargain. Today I found a couple.
Every year I grow a Country Garden in our front and side garden, I do this especially to attract Bees, every year I have seen the amount of Bees grow. I bought 2 boxes of Country Flowers and 2 Boxes of Wild Flowers, they were £1.96 reduced to 50p each, I couldn't resist, If hubby wasn't there I would have bought more.
These will get put into my garden cupboard ready for next year. Hubby has took over the rest of the garden so my focus is on the Bees, my Bee garden will get finished next year, I can't wait to have everything in its place so I can sit out there and watch the Bees work.
After the food shopping we went to pick my daughter up from work, we do this to save her having to get 2 buses home taking her nearly 2 hours. We then took the shopping home put it away left my daughter at home as her boyfriend was picking her up. Me, hubby and his mum went out for a meal. We play the lottery, if we win we put it away then once it's a good amount we treat ourselfs to a nice meal out. I had to drive home as hubby decided he would like a couple of pints with his meal, I can't moan at him as he does so much for me. I was glad to get home and back in my pyjamas, I am shattered and in pain but proud of pushing myself to go out, its really hard to go out when you have been in doors for a while, the longer you stay in the harder it is to go out.
I did treat myself when I was at the farm shop, they had a lovely looking chocolate cheesecake plus fresh strawberries, I wanted these for my supper and to treat myself for going out. I didn't manage it all as it was a good size. It was very tasty and the Strawberries went really well with it.
I am now ready for bed and looking forward to my lie in tomorrow, I'll be resting for a few days now. I miss the days when I had no pain, when I could go out when I wanted and stay out all day without any problems. I now have to be very careful what I do it or I will be in to much pain. We do take things for granted thinking you are going to be fine but you never know what is around the corner, healthy and fit one day then disabled the next, life can be very cruel.
