HAPPY THURSDAY
We have had a horrible night with Mika, she has really had a hard time constantly panting, up and down drinking loads and needing to go out, so many mistakes, the Carpet cleaner is out again. She's not moaning, she's still eating really well, she's still wagging her tail and pleased to see everyone. We are going to have to take her back to the Vets for more checks as we can't go on like this with no sleep. She's so different through the day, she's sleeping really well, probably exhausted after last night, she's not panting nearly as much, she's not constantly drinking and peeing, we are baffled. This is her more, she's just woke up.

She has already had loads of scans and tests at the Vets but they can't find anything wrong with her, the tested her heart, liver, kidneys but couldn't find anything wrong, theres nothing in her blood so what's going on. We think she has Cushings disease but the tests say no even though she has every symptom. IF she was in pain and suffering we would have to have that chat and make the right decision for her,but at the minute she's happy enough to do her thing, she still loves a treat and a cuddle.
CHANGING THE SUBJECT
I made the rice pudding I said I was going to do in my last post,I mainly made it for my daughter who is having a few problems with her left side of her face, her jaw bone, chin, ear & Temple. She managed to get an appointment at our Doctors who told her what she had already found out, she has TMJ DISORDER.
TMJ DISORDER
Is something none of us have heard before that's until we searched it then weirdly we get lots of TMJ information on TikTok and Google.
Affecting the temporomandibular joint (jaw joint), causing symptoms like: Jaw, Face and ear pain Headaches Clicking or popping noises Difficulty opening or closing the mouth. Causes can include injury, teeth grinding, arthritis, or a displaced disc within the joint. Many cases improve with self-care, such as eating soft foods, applying ice packs, and avoiding gum chewing, but medical treatment may be needed in some instances. TAKEN FROM GOOGLE
My daughter has been having all the symptoms for quite sometime thinking at first she had an ear infection for which the Doctor gave her an Ear spray as that's what they said it was. She them thought it must be a bad tooth, she is 28 has no fillings and no extractions but this weird pain that travels around the left side of her face. With Covid she lost her NHS space at the dentists, no dentist is taking on NHS patients anymore. She did manage to talk to someone who sorted her an emergency appointment for Monday just so thru can check her teeth and hording give her some advice. We have found out that a fitted teeth guard can help with the grinding but will cost her quite a bit.
The dentist has said there is no treatment other than a mouth guard and eating soft foods, not to chew to much, not to talk to much (she's a hairdresser) Using a cold compress and taking Ibuprofen and Paracetamols. She was in so much pain last week we were considering taking her to A&E but eventually managed to get her settled with pills and a frozen bag of peas. We think this has all come adter she finished taking Sertaline, she was taking these for anxiety & Depression but later we found out they are really bad tablets especially for someone with Depression.
She has been scared to eat over the last few days so that's why I made the Rice pudding, it comes her up, didn't bother her problems and made her feel a little better.

This certainly helped.
