HAPPY FRIDAY
My garden is still growing with so many flowers and pots, everytime hubby goes out he always manages to find a shop that has plants that he wants. We have a few garden centers where we live, he always has an excuse to go and theres always something he wants. I was suprised at our last trip out it was me that bought a bird feeder, he did want to walk around the garden but I said I wanted to get home. I probably saved quite a bit of money. He does get obsessed with everything he does he always has done.
I do love my garden as it does attract loads of bees and butterfly's, I love to sit and watch them work. I used to be in charge of the garden when hubby was working but now he's took over And boy has he took over Especially with Hydrangeas, the man loves a Hydrangea.
FRONT GARDEN
That's one side of the our front garden this is the other side. This is now my side for my country garden mix that I like to plant especially for the Bees. Glen is trying really hard to give me less space every year, I'm not giving up my country for anyone.
There's not much more space for anymore but I can guarantee he will manage to fit more pots, he used to phone me to tell me he was buying more now he just shows up with them and tries to trick me to see if I notice. He does make the odd mistake as he's colour blind with red and green, sometimes he buys a plant thinking it's a different colour it then won't fit with what he wants so it will go in the back garden, he will never return it.
BACK GARDEN
Glen was never interested in the garden when I was doing it. I used to love lots of Sunflowers but Forme not keen so I'm going to try and grow a few next year. I do love Sunflowers and Teddy Bear Sunflowers. These were grown by me back in 2021.
I also have a Bee corner in the dude garden that's busy going through a change, I'm adding on a fairy garden for my granddaughter, I can't move forward with it this year so lookz like I'll be starting it next year, gives me extra time to buy more fairy garden supplies. I already have 3 bags full ready for my little one to build her own garden which will give her somewhere to play and spend time with nature.
Glens been in charge of the garden for just this year, the amount of plants we have you would think he's been at it for years. I'm hoping that's it both front and back garden is done nothing more is needed, next year we will focus on the side then it will be keeping on top of it. We will then have somewhere to sit and get to enjoy all the hard work.
