HOPE YOUR HEADING A PEACEFUL WEEK

I am shattered today after yesterday's birthday antics, I did get more than 2 hours sleep last night as Mika my pup slept a little better than the night before. Whilst I've been relaxing in the house and im 61 my 82 year old Mother in Law has been out again having more birthday celebrations, out for a nice meal with her girls group. She has way more energy than me and so much more stamina. We have a deal that she must text me every night just before bed around 9.30 so I know she's OK then she texts her other daughter in law in the Morning. Its peace of mind for us knowing she's OK.

I'll call my mother in law V as it will make it easier to read ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

V has been wanting a pet but we have had to put our foot down as she really doesn't have the time plus is never home. She would love a Maincoon, a very large cat, she's always wanted one but she's now to old plus her flat isn't big enough. We have discussed loads of pets from Budgies, Guinea pigs and Hamsters all I've said no to because she can't keep them clean as its alot of work plus to tying for her as she has a great social life. We have decided on a small fish tank that my hubby will clean and do all the heavy work, all V has to do is feed them.

We have said she's allowed some goldfish and maybe a couple of small frogs, these don't need to much care as long as she doesn't over feed them. We have had to show her how much and how many times a day, we have had to make it as easy as possible so once before bed and no more than 4 flakes of food and that is it. We are picking her fish up on Saturday, She gets a lot of pleasure having a pet but hasnt the time, patience or energy for one, we have had to be strict, its payback time for hubby hubby when his mum said no to him growing up.

She's quite happy with the fish, she's looking forward choosing the ones she's like, she will talk to them first then when she gets them home she will have converse with them, they are her babies plus they are company for her.

This comes to all of us, we all have to accept we are going to get old then our children become our keepers and start telling us what to do for the best. God help us.

We have a lovely old couple who live next door to us, sadly they have both been diagnosed with Dementia, the lady is the worst, she is always telling her hubby off for not smiling at her or not paying her enough attention, all night he's shouting I love you hoping it appeases her. The Doctors have decided she needs to be in a care home at the Weekends too give her hubby some respite, his son said his dad is over the moon bless him, Old age is very cruel and very scary. Our bodies but we haven't a clue what's happening with them and can't stop it.

Good health everyone.

Thank you for visiting ๐Ÿ’Ÿ๐Ÿ’Ÿ
