HAPPY THURSDAY,IT WILL SOON BE HERE
I'm still trying to catch up on rest I have missed after heading a busy few days but seems someone has other plans. Hubby is having problems with the Dentist so needs me to drive him there and back as its awkward to get to, he's been having a bit of trouble with his front tooth, it needed a filling, they put a temporary one in until they could get him back in for a longer appointment. Hubby doesn't like dentists, he had trouble years ago after one dentist was drilling his tooth when the drill bit snapped leaving it stuck in his tooth, he had to go to A&E to get it removed. He's also not happy with the injection they put in your gum, I told him he won't feel anything after the first injection, when he came out he said he had to tell the Dentist to numb his gum as she wasn't going to. I think hubby has gone a little soft after leaving work BUT don't tell him I said that.
I waited for him on the car when he went in to be seen, the car seats are way more comfortable than the Dentists waiting room seats, After a couple of minutes sitting in the car I was in agony with my back, had to twist myself around so sitting on one cheek to get some relief. Half an hour later hubby came out, he didn't look to pleased but then again when does he. He took one look at his teeth in the car mirror to realise something was wrong, He had gone into the Dentists with a full tooth but came out without, one was smaller than the other.
Luckly we had a recent photo of him smiling, doesn't happen very often, we drove home so he could double check. We then made the photo above that shows his tooth is shorter after his Dentist appointment, he wasn't very happy. I had gone back to bed as my head was racing, he went back to the Dentists to speak to them. He said they first tried to brush it off then after seeing the photos they made him another appointment for tomorrow morning, I'm not sure what they can do about it apart from putting a cap on it but can't see then taking the blame for that as it costs £300 for 1 cap and I can't see hubby agreeing to pay so they may hopefully give him a discount as it is there fault. I don't think he would have been bothered if it was his back teeth but the front teeth are very important.
I'm not keen on Dentists, I can put up with a lot of things but sitting there with your mouth open for as long as needed for them you can't swallow, its uncomfortable, you are scared your going to choke and my last appointment she flicked off my temporary filling which fell in to my throat, she then stuck that sucky tube in whilst I was choking, its torture and they enjoy it. Rather hubby than me.
