Hot hot harvest!! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Ow yessssss, after a couple of weeks of watching and waiting and already having some pre harvest from a couple of the less hot ones, this week it was finally time for some hot bangers!

The garden has been doing very well and apart from some very warm outdoors conditions and tons of watering everything, at the end of this summer it seems like the keeping and petting my seedlings the harvest is here!

This was just a lap of harvesting everything I was able to find and let it ripen a bit further inside where on some of them was needed, and some of the things were just ready to eat plain out.

Or yeah, eat..... That might be a bit too ambitious with these harvest as these peppers is just damn hot and shouldn't be handled as a snack sized something. These are better if you ask me to just just 1 in an entire dish. Or maybe even be dried and chopped where to just use a little bit of them.

And also in the hardvest, another zucchini ready to use! The zucchini has also steadily been tossing off some fruits and every time there has been some experiments on what to use it all in.

## Bhud ghost pepper

Now this one is kind of a first for me having these bright yellow peppers as well, which actually look awesome in a dish because of the color.

When growing I wasn't entirely sure if they would stay yellow in the process, or that they eventually would turn red. That means I let them hanging there for about 2 additional weeks until I saw that they weren't getting any extra color and remaining to stay yellow.

What I can tell you of these ones... Well the 1.000.000 point on the Scoville scale here and not a lie, because wowwww ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

I saw people turning dark red in facial color and reaching for the milk carton after eating these in the house :D

Bhud Chocolate

Now another one that is interesting and new to me here is the Bhud Chocolate pepper. Sure, the name can already give some away about the color that it would have a chocolate color, but uhh... These ones really remained to stay brown of color.

They are smaller than I had expected because I saw some pictures of them online being a lot bigger. Now I have to admit that I didn't replant them in bigger pots during the summer time. This will surely have had some effect on how big the fruits ended up and how much yield eventually was produced.

I read somewhere that they need a pot of 45 cm diameter, and now they are in like 30-35 cm pots. So yeah, this surely is my own fault. But repotting has to be done already earlier than that there is blossom in there. By the time I realized this it was already hot outside and the blossom was already pollinated and that means you have to protect the plant a bit more. Regardless, these peppers with 800.000 on the scoville scale are also super hot and ready to be use. There are still also a lot on the tree left so this one will produce a bot more over the upcoming weeks.

Again we learn about the whole process. I had the dragons breath plant as well which had not produced any blossom at all, so I don't think this one will have any peppers this year. It might be one to preserve over the winter and see what it does next year, because I do find the 2.4 million SHU kind of intruiging.

But I need to give it a bigger pot then for sure. So for next year... less plants because I had 5 different ones this year which is too much to maintain. Better have less plants and give them more loving for upcoming year.

We live, we learn, but again there is some hot yield!! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ
