Siempre he pensado que para muchas personas y sobre todos los jóvenes es tan importante sentirse aceptado que son capaces de dejar su propia personalidad para formar parte de grupos de amigos y familiares.
En esta búsqueda de aceptación se pueden cometer muchos errores como llegar a consumir drogas, bebidas alcohólicas, así como usar vestimenta y hacer cosas solamente para complacer a otras personas.
Desde mi punto de vista para encajar en la sociedad no debes disfrazarte ni aparentar lo que no eres, en una sociedad debe prevalecer los principios y valores básicos como el respeto, empatía y entender que cada persona tiene personalidad distinta tanto en los recursos económicos, culturales, religiones etc .no todos somos iguales y no por eso debemos excluir a los demás y hacer algún tipo de burlas. Para no dejarnos llevar por este tipo de prejuicios, debemos tener bien claro cuáles son nuestros valores y tener criterio propio.
En lo personal, he tenido la experiencia de adaptarme rápidamente a otras personas y hacer amigos. Recuerdo que en mi época de estudiante en la universidad era la mayor del grupo de estudio y esto no impidió que nos lleváramos muy bien y nos divergiéramos juntos. La verdad fue una época muy bonita.
En ocasiones he sentido el rechazo de algunas personas por mi personalidad, ya que me caracterizó por ser una persona tranquila que si estoy en una fiesta me gusta bailar y disfrutar de divertidas conversaciones con mis amigos, pero no me gusta ingerir demasiado bebidas alcohólicas por lo que me han llegado a tildar de aburrida y chapada a la antigua lo cual no le he prestado atención porque por lo general lo hacen personas que ni me conocen.
La sociedad está llena de muchos prejuicios que pueden ser absurdos. Si no tomas, eres aburrido. Si no tienes dinero, no puedes relacionarte con los que sí tienen. Si tienes tatuajes, te califican como delincuentes; así como estos, hay muchos prejuicios que te impiden encajar en la sociedad. Ya que te juzgan sin conocerte, por tu apariencia o por lo que transmites a primera vista, sin tomar en cuenta si eres una persona con buenos sentimientos y que puedes apoyar a quien lo necesite.
Creo que lo importante es ser fieles a nuestros principios, a nuestros valores, al final del día es eso lo realmente importante. Respetar la opinión de los demás y no dejar que sus opiniones nos afecten. Todos tenemos nuestro rol en la sociedad, pero cada uno de nosotros es un ser único, que merece ser aceptado tal como es, que merece respeto y empatía.
Es difícil hacer feliz a todo el mundo, pero si tienes amor propio, metas claras y una buena autoestima, de seguro que lograrás con facilidad ser muy feliz.
