Today, I'm going to share with you a lovely step-by-step transformation of a thick beige dress into a beautiful high-waisted, body-hugging ensemble that highlights the feminine silhouette and beauty, paired with a backless T-shirt-style blouse.
✨ Buenas, buenas por aquí, gente linda de @hivediy les deseo un maravilloso dia, cargado de buena vibra, de mucha alegria y sobre todo mucho amor.
Antes de comenzar con mi proyecto de costura, quiero darle las gracias a todos los miembros de esta bella comunidad, por ser tan amables, respetuosos y por apoyar a todos en sus emprendimientos.
El dia de hoy les voy a compartir un lindo paso a paso de una bella transformación de un vestido beich de tela gorda, a un lindo conjunto de falda alta pegada al cuerpo, resaltando la silueta y belleza femenina, acompañado de una blusa estilo camiseta abierta en la espalda.
✨ This upcycling project challenged me a lot. Despite not being complex, I had several setbacks while making the blouse. But in the end, everything was possible, and creativity once again played a crucial and decisive role. For this project, I already had a clear idea of what I wanted to achieve. With so little material, I had to improvise and tweak the design a bit, while maintaining the essence and freshness of the original.
✨ Este proyecto de reciclaje me sacó varios colores, pues a pesar de no ser complejo, tuve varios contratiempos en la elaboración de la blusita. Pero al final todo se pudo, y la creatividad una vez mas, jugo un papel primordial y decisivo.
Para este proyecto ya tenia claro lo que quería realizar, al tener tan poco material tocaba improvisar y cambiar un poco el diseño, manteniendo la esencia y la frescura de original.

✨ *For the realization of this nice outfit, I started by cutting from the shot down the middle, obtaining two parts which correspond to the blouse and the skirt of the same. Once cut out, I matched the fabric cuts with the scissors, and cut the excess fabric from the hem, achieving a straighter and more even structure.*

✨ *Para la realización de este lindo conjunto, comence separando la parte baja de la alta, pues necesitaba ver que cantidad de tela iba sobrando para el diseño de mi blusita.
Luego separe un liston bien ancho para tomarlo como fajin de mi falda, dandole un toque mas reservado y elegante.*

✨ *For the blouse, I had an idea in mind that the straps would end up a bit bulky and ugly, so I had to cut and destroy all the work I'd done. Once I had cut the damaged part, I proceeded to hem the neckline, and at the end of the shirt, I made a shorter, wider hem to thread an elastic band through, creating a double, more attractive strap.*

✨ *Para la blusita tenia una idea en mi cabeza que al final, quedaba algo abultada y fea en la parte de los tirantes, asi que tuve que picar y destruir todo lo que habia adelantado.
Una vez picada la parte dañada, procedi a hacer un dobladillo a la parte del cuello, y a la parte terminal de la camiseta, un dobladillo corto y mas ancho para pasar un elastico, logrando un tirante doble y mas bonito.*

✨ *To finish my blouse, I took an elastic band with a safety pin at the end and passed it from the front to the back, sealing the tie with a small stitch inside the shirt.*

✨ *Para culminar mi blusa tome un elástico con un imperdible en la punta y lo pase desde el delantero hacia la parte trasera, sellando con una pequeña puntada el empate por dentro de la camiseta.*

✨ *For the skirt, all I had to do was attach the sash to the body. Where I had the fabric ribbon, I folded it in half and joined it with a straight seam. Then, fold it in half again, this time downwards, and pin it all the way around the top edge, securing both pieces.*

✨ *Para la falda solo habia que unir el fajin al cuerpo de la misma. Donde tome el liston de tela lo doble por la mitad y uni con una costura recta.
Luego doble nuevamente por la mitad hacia abajo en esta ocasion, y sujete con ayuda de alfineres por todo el contorno de arriba, quedando fijados ambas piezas.*
