This time, I'm designing a beautiful school kit for this new stage of life my dear daughter is embarking on. The bag, scarf, and apron are the true stars. ✨ Buenas noches gente linda de @hivediy, aqui me encuentro nuevamente con ustedes con otro proyecto de reciclaje con telas, en esta ocasión con el diseño de un bello kit escolar para esta nueva etapa de vida por la que se aventurera mi querida hija, donde el bolso, el pañuelo y el delantal son los verdaderos protagonistas.

✨ This upcycling project has been a new challenge, as it's not one of my strong suits, as I'm more passionate about women's clothing designs. However, its creation was of utmost importance, as my daughter had to attend her classes with these tools.
The fabric chosen was fresh, thin, and very durable. The print with Chinese letters and geisha was sensational, perfectly complementing the style I wanted to recreate.
✨ Este proyecto de reciclaje ha sido un nuevo reto, pues no es de mis fuertes debido a que me apasiona mas los diseños de prendas femeninas, pero era de suma importancia su elaboración, pues mi hija debía de asistir a sus clases con estas herramientas.
El tejido seleccionado era fresco, finito y bien resitente, el estampado con letras chinas y geisha era sensacional, complementaba a la perfección con el estilo que deseaba recrear.

✨ *To make this kit, I started by removing the pieces from my two bags, where I took a sample from one I already had to mold this design. Once cut, I removed the pieces from my apron, measured them bit by bit, and trimmed off the excess with my daughter's help..*

✨ *Para la realización de este kit, comence sacando las partes de mis dos bolsas, donde tome una muestra de una que ya tenia para moldear este diseño. Una vez picados, saque las piezas de mi delantal, donde medi poco a poco y recorte lo sobrante con ayuda de mi niña.*

✨ *Using pins, I secured the top and bottom of my apron together to make it easier to sew a straight seam. Then, I finished with a zigzag stitch for a better finish and to prevent the fabric from fraying. I also made the straps and pockets for my fabric apron and bags. For the straps, I folded them in half, making sure they were inside out. I then turned them over and finished them on both sides with a zigzag stitch.*

✨ *Con ayuda de unos alfileres sujete empatando la parte alta y la parte baja de mi delantal, para pasar con mas facilidad una costura recta y luego rematar con una puntada en zic zac, para un mejor acabado y evitar que se deshile la tela. Tambien realice las tiras y los bolsillos para mi delantal y bolsos de tela. Para las tiras, doble por la mitad asegurándome que fuese el revés, volteandolo luego y rematando por los dos laterales con una puntada en zic zac.*

✨ *Once finished, I proceeded to sew stud-style ruffles around the entire contour of my apron, adding at the same time the strips to tie at the back and at the neck.*

✨ *Una vez terminado, procedi a coser haciendo vuelos estilo tachones por todo el contorno de mi delantal, añadiendole a su vez las tiras para amarrar por la espalda y en el cuello.*

✨ *Once my apron was ready, I proceeded to make the two tote bags. First, I turned the fabric inside out and sewed all the way around, leaving only the top unstitched, always finishing with a zig zag waistband.
Then I did the same stitching on the top, adding the two loops and the pocket.*

✨ *Una vez listo mi delantal, procedi a realizar las dos bolsas de mano. Primero voltee al reves la tela y cosi por todo el contorno, dejando solo la parte de arriba sin coser, siempre rematando con una cintura en zic zac.
Luego le pase la misma costura por la parte de arriba añadiendole a su vez las dos azas, y el bolsillo.*

✨️ *Finally, I made the headscarf. To do this, I cut out a triangle and sewed it around the entire headband using a zigzag stitch. Then, I took two thin ribbons and sewed them together using the same stitch. With this beautiful accessory almost ready, I took the ends of the headscarf and placed the strips together, placing one end on top of the other and sewing them with a simple stitch.*

✨️ *Por ultimo realice el pañuelo para la cabeza. Para ello recorte un triangulo y con una puntada en zic zac le pase a todo el contorno de la misma. Luego tome dos listones finos y fui cosiendo con la misma puntada. Casi listo este bello accesorio, tome la puntas del pañuelo y coloque las tiras, colocando una punta encima de la otra y pasando una costura simple.*
