Today, I'm going to share a lovely, detailed step-by-step guide to transforming a women's skirt into a cute outfit for a young girl. I previously showed you a reusable clothing project thanks to the creativity of a young woman who loves sewing.

El dia de hoy les voy a compartir un lindo y detallado paso a paso de la transformación de una falda de señora a un lindo conjunto para jovencita. Una vez os muestro un proyecto de ropa reutilizable gracias a la creatividad de una joven que ama la costura.
✨ I'd been dying to create this design for a long time, but other ideas always came up, or my clients simply chose other designs. This one in particular loves skirts, and her style is somewhat rebellious, formal with a sensual touch. So it paired perfectly with the selected design. The fabric was thick but flexible, so when adjusted, it would lift the bust and highlight the curves with impact. Clearly, I already had a notion or idea of what I was going to develop, but some inspiration is always good. As you know, Pinterest is my favorite app in the world for finding the muse we so crave.

✨ Desde un inicio pense en un estilo romántico, con mucho descubiertos, y algo formal hacia abajo. Asi que sin darme cuenta ya tenia una prenda realizada en mi cabeza, solo faltaba elaborarla.
Os soy sincera, estaba tan intrigada y a la vez emocionada, que olvide tomar imagen de casi todo el proceso, pero este trabajo estaba tan bonito y práctico, que era una pena el no mostrarlo y compartirlos con ustedes.

✨ *To make this lovely design, I started by cutting the length of my skirt, using the excess to obtain my open-back top.
Then I took a sample of a skirt to determine the width of the one I would make.
For the blouse, I only cut the seams at the sides, resulting in two pieces. Since I had no more material left, I took a piece of black fabric and made several strips. These would be used as a support for my top.*

✨ **Para la realización de este lindo diseño, comence cortando el largo de mi falda, obteniendo con lo sobrante mi top descubierto.
Luego tome una muestra de una falda para sacar el ancho de la que se iba a elaborar.
En el caso de la blusa, solo separe por las costuras de los laterales, obteniendo dos piezas. Al no quedar mas material, tome un recorte de tela negra, e hice varias tiras. Pues estos serian empleados como soporte de mi top.**

✨ *Once each piece is cut, I proceed with its construction. Take the front and back of my skirt, and after adding a thin elastic to the back, place them right sides together and sew with a straight stitch. I place it in front of my chest, making a French seam, then turn it inside out and sew again. The entire seam allowance is tucked in. Then, I hem the entire circumference of the lower part.
For the blouse, I only hemmed the two rectangles that remained on their four sides, and made bridges at the top with a 4cm separation from the upper edge and another one in the middle of it to then pass the strips that will give sustainability to my top.*

✨ **Una vez recortada cada pieza procedo a su confección. Tome el delantero con el trasero de mi falda, luego de añadir un elástico fino a
la parte trasera, coloque derecho con derecho y pase una costura con puntada recta me lo coloque en frente de mi pecho, haciendo una costura francesa, luego lo voltee al reves y vuelvo a pasar costura. Quedando todo el margen de costura por dentro. Para luego hacer un dobladillo a toda la circunferencia de la parte baja.
Para la blusa, solo le realice los dobladillos a los dos rectángulos que quedaron por sus cuatro lados, y realice puentes en la parte de arriba con 4cm de separación al borde superior y a mitad del mismo otro mas para luego pasar las tiras que le daran sostenibilidad a mi top.**
