Today, I'm going to share with you a beautiful and detailed step-by-step guide to the design and making of a long, ruffled dress. Without a doubt, a project that filled me with great joy and some insecurity, as it was the first one I'd made in this style and model. I hope you enjoy this clothing recycling project.

El dia de hoy les voy a compartir un lindo y detallado paso a paso del diseño y confección de un vestido largo con vuelos, sin dudas un trabajo que me lleno de mucha alegría y algo de inseguridad, pues era el primero que realizaba de este estilo y modelo. Espero y os guste este proyecto de reciclado de ropa.
✨ This particular design had been on my mind for months, as it's a fresh, youthful, and trendy style. The fabric was already top-notch, as it never goes out of style, but with this design, I was sure it would make me look beautiful and very feminine.
✨ Este diseño en particular estaba hace meses rondado en mi cabeza, pues es un estilo fresco, juvenil y en tendencia. Ya el tejido era lo maximo, pues nunca pasa de moda, pero con ese diseño, estaba segura que haria lucir bella y muy femenina.

**Procedure:**

✨ *To make this beautiful dress, I started by making the pattern from some swatches. For the skirt length, I only placed the fabric in front and marked it up to the knee, as the flare would make it look longer. The width needed to be almost double the swatch for the bottom, as it would have many pleats, giving my project a gathered effect.
For the blouse, I placed the swatch piece by piece, so I could work out each part. Since the fabric isn't stretchy, I used a pattern in the bust area, which gave it shape and volume. For the back, I only measured the size of the front and gradually refined it to obtain the pieces that tie in the back.*

✨ **Para la realización de este lindo vestido, comence sacando el patron partiendo de unas muestras. Para el largo de la falda solo me coloque la tela en frente y marque hasta la rodilla, pues el vuelo era el que haria que se viera mas larga. El ancho debia de ser casi el doble de la muestra para la parte de abajo, pues tendria muchos pliegues dando un efecto de fruncido a mi proyecto.
En el caso de la blusa coloque la muestra por pieza, para ir sacando cada parte, pues como la tela no eres elastizada, llevaba un modelo en la parte del busto que era la que le daba la forma y el volumen. Mientras que en la parte de atras solo medi del tamaño de la de alante y fui afinando poco a poco para obtener las piezas que se amarran por la espalda.**

✨ *Once the skirt is cut and pinned to the sides, I sew a straight stitch around the entire area, then a zigzag stitch to give it a better finish and more durability.
For the flight, I had to hand-stitch the entire skirt. It was a long day, but in the end, everything was possible.*

✨ **Una vez recortado y colocado los alfileres en los laterales de mi falda, procedo a pasar una costura con puntada recta por toda el area, y luego una costura en zic zac para darle un mejor acabado y mas resistencia.
En el caso del vuelo tuve que coser a mano todo el mismo, fue una larga jornada, pero al final todo se pudo.**

✨ *Once my lower part was ready, I proceeded to make the upper part. To do this, I sewed the areas where the pins were, making two exactly the same pieces.
For the straps, I used only ribbons. I hemmed the longer one and assembled it into studs or tabs to create a nice flare. I placed them inside the other ribbon and closed it with a seam, leaving the ends unstitched to turn it right side out. When I turned it right side out, I sewed two straight stitches on each side, securing my flare better and giving it a nice finish.*

✨ **Una vez lista mi parte baja procedo a realizar la de arriba. Para ello fui pasando costura en las areas donde estaban los alfileres haciendo dos piezas exactamente iguales.
Para los tirantes tome solo listones, el mas largo le realice un dobladillo y lo fui montando en forma de tachones o tablas para hacer un lindo vuelo. Los coloque por dentro del otro liston y lo cerre con una costura, dejando las puntas sin coser para voltearlo al derecho. Al voltearlo al derecho, pase dos puntadas rectas en cada lateral, fijando mejor mi vuelo y dandole una bonita terminación.**

**Después de pasar costura por todo el contorno, lo voltee al derecho por la parte de alante.
Uni la parte de abajo con la parte de arriba con ayuda de alfileres y pase una costura recta por toda esa area.**
