✨ For this clothing recycling project, I made the most of every scrap or fabric sliver. So, I took a sample of a sweater to get the design I wanted. Then I made small modifications, searching for information and designs on Pinterest. Now that I had a clear idea of the style and design I wanted, I got to work.
Para este proyecto de reciclado de ropa aproveche al maximo cada liston o recorte de tela. Asi que tomé una muestra de una blusa, pues el corte que tenia en la parte del frente lo requeria. Luego realice pequeñas modificaciones en correspondencia con el diseño a realizar.
Ya teniendo claro el estilo y modelo que deseaba ejecutar, me puse manos a la obra.

✨ *I started by cutting out all the pieces of my blouse, using a sample, but with the appropriate alterations. Then I cut out the bottom of my dress and separated the lining. Since it was very thin and soft, I decided to use another fabric to make the lining for the top of the dress. Once the pieces were cut, I pinned them together to sew a seam.*

✨ *Once cut, I sewed the back of each piece (front and back) all the way around, adding the straps, approximately 3 meters long, and the loops to hold them through. I made pretty crisscrosses in the back. The entire bottom of the blouse was left unstitched, as that's where the garment would be hemmed.*

*Una vez recortada procedi a pasar costura por el reves de cada pieza(delantero y trasero), por todo el contorno, colocandole los tirantes bien largos de aproximadamente 3metros y las orejitas para que pasaran dichos tirantes, haciendo cruces muy lindas en la espalda.
Toda la parte baja de la blusa quedo sin coser, pues por alli seria voldeada la prenda de vestir.*

✨️ *Once this entire process was complete, I proceeded to make the lower part of my dress. To do this, I took the lower part and divided it into two parts (front and back). Then, I gathered the front part with a hand needle, while I hemmed the back and threaded elastic, giving it a nice, bow-shaped finish. I took the two pieces and joined them with a straight seam, finishing with a tack stitch to prevent the fabric from fraying.*

*Una vez realizado todo este proceso, procedi a realizar la parte baja de mi vestido. Para ello tome la parte baja y la dividi en dos( delantero y trasero). Luego frunci con una aguja de mano la parte de alante, mientras que en la parte de atras hice un dobladillo y pase un elástico, dandole un acabado bonito y con forma de arco.
Tome las dos piezas y las uni con una costura recta, para rematar con un tik tak, evitando que se deshile la telita.*
