Today will forever remain a memorable day in my walk with God. It was not just another gathering, but a divine moment of impartation, celebration, and release into a higher dimension of purpose. Standing before my spiritual father, receiving prayers, counsel, and blessings, I could feel the weight of God’s grace and the assurance of His presence going with me into the next chapter of life.
The service was specially organized to celebrate us as Final Year Brethren. It was a thanksgiving moment, a time to return all glory to God for keeping us from the very first day we stepped into school till this point of completion. Truly, it has been God all the way. The journey of academics is never easy, the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, the tests of faith, the many challenges that could have swallowed us, but through it all, the Lord showed Himself strong and mighty. To stand on this day, being celebrated and prayed for, is a testimony of His marvelous help.
One of the most remarkable aspects of today’s service was the atmosphere of worship and gratitude. Together with my colleagues, clothed in our thanksgiving attire, we lifted up our hands and voices in surrender, acknowledging that we are products of mercy. It was a sight of unity and shared testimony. Each one of us carried our individual stories, battles, and victories, yet God gathered us together to celebrate as one family. In that moment, it was clear that thanksgiving is not just an act but a lifestyle of acknowledging the faithfulness of God.
Then came the moment of impartation. My spiritual father stood as a channel of blessing, laying hands on us, speaking prophetic words, and releasing grace for the future. Impartation is more than just a ritual, it is the transfer of spiritual virtue, strength, and divine enablement. As he prayed, I felt deeply that something was deposited into my life, something that will sustain me beyond the walls of the university. This impartation is not just for today, but for the journey ahead, for ministry, for career, for family, and for every sphere of influence God will plant me in.
The certificate presented to us may look like paper in the natural, but to me, it represents honor, recognition, and a seal of spiritual backing. It is a reminder that I am sent forth, not empty, but empowered. It is a token of both celebration and responsibility, celebration of what God has done, and responsibility for the assignment ahead.
As I reflect on this impartation service, I am filled with gratitude. I am grateful to God who never fails, grateful to my spiritual father for his guidance, prayers, and sacrifices, and grateful to my brethren who walked this journey alongside me. We are products of grace, and this celebration is only the beginning of greater manifestations.
Indeed, today’s impartation service was not just an event, it was a defining moment. I step out with renewed faith, equipped with wisdom, and charged with the mandate to make impact. To God alone be the glory!
