Good day to everyone in the HOLOZING community! 💚 Today, I’m excited to share my latest entry for ZINGtober 2025, based on the prompt “ROWDY 🎤” featuring none other than our beloved Ocean Healer 🌊, this time caught doing something unexpected… singing at karaoke! 🎶😄 Now, you might think the Ocean Healer’s voice would be soft and soothing like waves at dawn but not today! 😂 In this artwork, she’s tone-deaf, loud, and completely off-key — but she’s having the time of her life! I wanted to capture that pure, joyful chaos that comes when someone sings from the heart, even if it’s not perfect. There’s a kind of freedom in not caring how you sound — just enjoying the moment and laughing with everyone around you. That, to me, is the real meaning of “ROWDY” — loud, unrestrained, and full of life! 💙🎵 Please don’t forget to comment and tell me what you think! I hope this fan art, drawn by yours truly, brings you a smile. 🙏 About the Artwork This fan art was done using traditional materials, with each step carefully built up from sketch to shade. I tried to add light and shadow of the character also showing the burst of energy to represent the playful side of the usually calm Ocean Healer. It’s always fun to take a character known for serenity and show their wild side for once. Being an artist isn’t easy, but moments like this make it worthwhile. 🎨✨ PROCESS — STEP BY STEP 1. Rough Sketch I started with a 2B pencil to define her pose — microphone in hand, eyes closed, singing her heart out. This step helps shape the flow and emotion of the character.
2. Clean Outline I used a black ball pen to trace the sketch neatly, keeping her expression lively and fun.
3. Outfit & Shadows
For her outfit, I used bold, contrasting tones .
4. Background & Lighting I drew the shaking music note and the audience rowdy karaoke party energy.
5. Finishing & Scanning Finally, I scanned the completed piece, did some minor editing for clarity, and adjusted the tones to make it pop digitally.
