The Moon is always there. A half blink of shadow, a crescent of an eyelash, opulent in fullness, spellbound in nothingness, and a friend. Carolyn Riker
Yesterday we enjoyed a magnificent moon eclipse, it was easily viewed in Europe and i had the pleasure to visit a couple of places and to take a few shots
This is what happened
On September 7, 2025, Earth’s natural satellite passed directly into our planet’s umbral shadow, resulting in a breathtaking total lunar eclipse. Known as the “Corn Moon,” this full moon traversed through the darkest portion of Earth’s shadow. The event lasted about 82 minutes, making it one of the longest total lunar eclipses in the past decade . The reddish hue, often referred to as a “Blood Moon,” is caused by sunlight refracting through Earth’s atmosphere—scattering shorter blue wavelengths and allowing only the longer red wavelengths to illuminate the Moon

The moon was very impressive, but i needed a telephoto to be able to take a good shot of it I tried to use my phones telephoto
During the end of the phenomenon, it was very cloudy and this did not help to take more photos
If you also like the moon, make sure to take a note on the next day you will be able to experience it
The next total lunar eclipse, often referred to as a Blood Moon, will take place on March 3, 2026.
For now i am leaving you with a cute photo 🥰
Thx for visiting and pls tell me if you saw the eclipse yesterday 😍
