Recientemente, tuve la oportunidad de celebrar la vida de una gran amiga, celebré su cumpleaños y su existencia. Teníamos bastante tiempo sin vernos por temas del día a día, pero encontrarnos es siempre como una fiesta eterna así que, aunque confieso que esos días no estaba de muchos ánimos para salir, igual decidí ponerme mi mejor sonrisa e ir a disfrutarme un pedacito de torta.
Hola mi gente de Emtions and Feelings paso por aquí para contarles sobre esa alegría de celebrar a la gente que uno quiere. A veces es necesario soltar el trabajo, la corredera, la rutina, el encierro y buscar un poco de aire fresco con la gente que a uno le recarga las baterias y fue justo lo que me pasó celebrando el cumpleaños de mi amiga, que les cuento que no tenía muchas ganas de salir, pero terminé celebrando por dos días ahahajaj.
El primer día fue bien apurado y casi que corriendo. Ese primer día fue una cena de comida rápida, una tortica, conversar ameno un ratico corto y listo todo el mundo a su casa. El cumpleaños la agarró entre semana y pues al día siguiente era necesario cumplir con deberes de colegio.
Ahhhh, pero el cumpleaños no terminó ahí. Un par de días después, nos encontramos de nuevo con todos los amigos para compartir en un bar restaurant que estaba ofreciendo una actividad especial “Noche de despecho” pues les cuento entonces que terminamos tomando poche de crema, cantando baladas y disfrutando los bonitos momentos que nos regala Papá Dios.
Aquí no hubo torta, solo nos sobraron las risas hasta la madrugada, las canciones que cantamos a todo pulmón y los buenos recuerdos que nos llevamos de esa noche bonita donde nos volvimos a encontrar después de tanto rato.
Y quiero darte un consejo chiquitico: La próxima vez que te encuentres en medio de la rutina, haz una pausa. Llama a ese familiar, amigo que hace tiempo no ves. Sorprende a tu pareja con un simple detalle. O simplemente tómate un momento para decirle a alguien que lo aprecias. Porque al final del día, lo que realmente importa no es lo que hicimos, sino a quién amamos y cómo celebramos esos lazos que nos mantienen unidos. Ahí con esas personas que queremos es donde se encuentra la verdadera alegría de vivir.

Sometimes it's necessary to let go of work, the rush, the routine, the confinement, and look for some fresh air with the people who recharge your batteries. And that's exactly what happened to me celebrating my friend's birthday. I have to tell you, I didn't really feel like going out, but I ended up celebrating for two days, ahahajaj.
The first day was very rushed and almost like we were running. It was a fast-food dinner, a little cake, a nice short chat, and then everyone went home. Her birthday was during the week, and well, the next day, we had to go back to our daily school duties.
Ahhhh, but the birthday didn't end there. A couple of days later, we met up again with all our friends to hang out at a bar-restaurant that was offering a special "Heartbreak Night" event. So, I'll tell you, we ended up drinking cream punch, singing ballads, and enjoying the beautiful moments that God gives us.
There was no cake there, we just had plenty of laughter until the early morning, songs we sang at the top of our lungs, and beautiful memories we took away from that lovely night where we met again after so long.
And I want to give you a small piece of advice: The next time you find yourself in the middle of your routine, take a break. Call that family member or friend you haven't seen in a while. Surprise your partner with a simple gesture. Or simply take a moment to tell someone you appreciate them. Because at the end of the day, what really matters isn't what we did, but who we love and how we celebrate the bonds that keep us together. It's with the people we love that we find the true joy of living.
