Hoy doy inicio a mi #HiveChallenge con este post donde les quiero contar de este regalo tan bonito de día, si leyeron bien: REGALO DE DÍA que tuve recientemente en mi viaje a Medellín, porque bueno, no todo fue trabajo, también hubo escapadas de compras, comidas ricas y pues también esto, un día de niña, donde no solo tuve la oportunidad de arreglarme las uñitas, también salí a comer rico recordando mi infancia, me compré un vestido lindo y lo mejor con buena compañía y disfrutando de los bonitos instantes de la vida.
Hola mi gente de Life Style, hoy les quiero contar de esta escapada que fue como una especie de regalo, porque de verdad la pasé muy bien y además me dejé consentir. El día empezó corriendo a un centro comercial porque era necesario hacerme las uñas, el evento al que asistí en Medellín ya estaba bastante próximo y yo tenía las uñas echas un desastre y eso no podía seguir así. Caminando por el C.C. finalmente conseguí la peluquería y ahí estuve por 2 horas apróximadamente y es que me pusieron parafina en las manos y hasta masajitos me hicieron. Confieso que no es el lugar más económico donde me he ido a hacer las uñas, pero me lo gocé todo de inicio a fin.
El diseño lo conseguí, como siempre con mi buen amigo de Pinterest y la chica que me atendió, muy amable replicó exacto el diseño que le pedí. Mientras me hice las uñas fue lindo interactuar sobre la manera de pensar de las mujeres con otra cultura, porque sí, son el país hermano, pero tienen otra manera de ver el mundo y conocer esas otras perspectivas es genial.
Ya con las uñitas arregladas, salimos corriendo ooootra vez, pero ahora era necesario conseguir el vestido de la primera noche del evento, así que empezamos tienda por tienda, hasta que después de la quinta tienda, por fin conseguimos el vestido adecuado para un coctel. Yo salí del probador feliz porque sentí que finalmente había conseguido el vestido que tanto había estado buscando.
Conseguir ese vestido me dio paz, pero después de tanta búsqueda, caminar, hablar y reírme, me entró el hambre y lo único que quería era una hamburguesa doble de todo y fuimos a parar en McDonald's a comer cajita feliz familiar, solo para gente grande ahhajaj y les digo que fui feliz, mi sonrisa me delata.

Today I'm starting my #HiveChallenge with this post where I want to tell you about this beautiful day-gift I recently had on my trip to Medellín. Yes, you read that right: a DAY-GIFT! Because, well, it wasn't all work; there were also shopping getaways, delicious food, and then this—a day to feel like a little girl. I not only got my nails done, but I also went out to eat delicious food that reminded me of my childhood, bought a beautiful dress, and best of all, I enjoyed it all in good company and appreciating the beautiful moments of life.
Hello my Life Style people, today I want to tell you about this getaway that felt like a kind of gift, because I truly had a great time and let myself be pampered. The day started with a rush to a mall because I absolutely needed to get my nails done. The event I was attending in Medellín was quite soon, and my nails were a mess; that just couldn't continue. Walking around the mall, I finally found a beauty parlor and spent about 2 hours there, as they even put paraffin on my hands and gave me little massages. I confess it's not the cheapest place I've gone to get my nails done, but I enjoyed every bit of it, from start to finish.
I found the design, as always, thanks to my good friend Pinterest, and the lovely girl who attended to me replicated the exact design I asked for. While getting my nails done, it was nice to interact and discuss the mindset of women from another culture, because yes, they are a sister country, but they have a different way of seeing the world, and getting to know those other perspectives is great.
With my nails done, we rushed out a-g-a-i-n, but this time it was necessary to find the dress for the first night of the event. So we went store by store until, after the fifth one, we finally found the perfect dress for a cocktail party. I left the fitting room happy because I felt I had finally found the dress I had been looking for.
Finding that dress gave me peace, but after all that searching, walking, talking, and laughing, I got hungry. All I wanted was a double-everything burger, and we ended up at McDonald's to eat a family Happy Meal—only for grown-ups, ahahaha! And I'm telling you, I was happy; my smile gives me away.
