Yesterday, which was a Monday, and was my day off again. I needed to visit Aya's music class because her teacher wanted to talk to me.
Before heading to Komárno, my husband woke up early for work and prepared a delicious breakfast for Aya and me. He made scrambled eggs with onions and tomatoes, he even added extra onions because I love them. With toasted bread and complete with a layer of cheese.
I really love how my husband takes care of us and I do the same for him, vice versa! I always cook at home and I'm thinking about starting a food blog. But I keep forgetting to document what I'm doing and I don't like to do it again and I always remember it late. For example, I already sliced the onions, tomatoes and other ingredients, and it's too already. We enjoyed our simple breakfast and I truly believe that food made with love is always the most delicious. Aya quickly finished her breakfast because she needed to rush and catch the bus. I was then left alone to enjoy the quiet and slowly finish my meal. Then, I cleaned the house, spent some time studying my lessons for driving school and making my blog.
I planned to head into town around 1 PM by bus and I made sure to arrive at the stop early so I wouldn't risk missing the bus. Yesterday's weather was cloudy and cold and while waiting, I capture the beautiful surroundings. And the blue and cloudy sky above was absolutely breathtaking.
When I arrived at the designated bus stop and I needed to walk to Aya's singing school. I truly miss walking in this peaceful area because of its charming and peaceful town. While I was walking, the beautiful church instantly caught my attention.
I continued my journey to the music school and Aya was still in her dance class and would be starting her singing class soon after. We didn't see each other, but the main reason her new teacher wanted to speak with me was to discuss the upcoming recital. Her teacher asked if it was okay with Aya to sing a Filipino song. I immediately said yes. However, I'm worried about the song choice and whether Aya will pronounce the words properly, as her Tagalog is not that fluent.
I'm hoping that the song won't need to be changed so Aya can practice more. There is no fixed date for the recital this year. But Aya needs to start preparing early because she has three activities like singing, dancing, and piano.
After our talk, I didn't wait for Aya because her dance class was not yet finished. And I decided to visit my in-laws and not before my job I always stay in their place. When I arrived, my mother-in-law was busy in the kitchen preparing snacks and father-i-law was watching film. She was making a sweet treats and its for Aya, always spoiling, especially when it comes to food like sweets.
I didn't stay long at my in-laws' place because I had to get to my driving school (autoškola) theory class. It's my second week for theory class and sadly, the teacher speaks only Hungarian (Maďarsky) and Slovak (Slovensky). But the test I can choose in English. This means I have to study independently and time management between work, family, and my studies. I'm relying on an application to learn and Wish me luck! After this for my language, it's too much and it's a challenge for me.
So, that was my busy Monday. Have a wonderful day!
