After Malagos Garden Resort, we continue our day trip to another animal adventure in Philippine Eagle Center in Davao City. It's even more exciting when our trip becomes more than just a vacation. Especially our trip was Aya’s request to see up close the animals and her wish was granted.
Traveling as a family becomes more special and I know it's just about sightseeing but for us it’s about creating stories that will stay with us for years.
On our trip to Davao, she was always fascinated by animals. And whenever she saw other animals with different shapes, sizes and colors, her eyes lit up. Her innocence was so genuine for being amazed by those creatures.
Our journey continued as we arrived at the home of the majestic Philippine Eagle and it is located in Malagos, Baguio District.
The moment we entered and the air immediately felt different. The atmosphere was a more calm and almost sacred feeling. It welcomed us with those towering trees. The air was refreshing, thick green and echoing the sound of the chirping birds and other animals around our place. We really felt like we were in the jungle. Aya’s excitement was so contagious, they have this guessing game with Gabriel of what the animal sound they heard. Aya in her quiet moment of thinking and Gabriel ruins everything. That's why there's a car fight between and Gabriel will say your answer was wrong and it's a different animal..

It was nice seeing them even though they had a little fight. And I thought that they will get bored and even Aya wants to see animals and will say “I don't like her, Mama” But still she loves to see the beautiful animal creatures.
The Philippine Eagle Center is not just a center but also a sanctuary for conservation. Seeing it up close, we were simply stunned because of its size, with its sharp eyes, powerful wings, strong beak and presence—was truly breathtaking. And it's a really majestic eagle and no wonder why it's our Philippine National Bird.

But the Philippine Eagle is considered critically endangered and thanks to the people who put up the center. For dedicating their time to protect, take care and breed these endangered eagles.
There are other animals in the center, which is also home to many other fascinating species. Aya and Gabriel giggled as they watched monkeys swinging and playing. We also saw reptiles nearby.
There's a two-story house nestled among tall trees, flowers that add colors to the garden and green plants. The house feels like a hidden retreat away from the busy and noise of urban life.
We felt we were in the secret spot where you feel perfect for peace and reflection. The house really stood out and stands gracefully beside a serene pond that blanketed with lily pads. And perfectly mirroring the breathtaking sky and surrounding trees.
The entire scene was a natural freshness and breathtaking serenity. The landscape with tropical plants, colorful shrubs, and neatly arranged beautifully blends with the wildness.
When we had finished our tour, Aya was so happy after the day's adventure. The real adventure was watching her joy and seeing her wish come true. It was a beautiful experience of learning and natural wonder. As long as my daughters' happiness is mine too, and our trip was a success. 😍
