Saludos mis estimadas Damas de Hive, para mi es un enorme placer volver a saludarles desde mi blog. En esta oportunidad les quiero compartir mi experiencia en el evento "Por ellas corremos" en su sexta edición. Este es un evento que se realiza cada año en mi ciudad y que cada vez tiene mayor acogida por parte de la comunidad monaguense.
Greetings, my dear Hive Ladies, it is a great pleasure for me to greet you again from my blog. On this occasion, I would like to share my experience at the sixth edition of the “Por ellas corremos” event. This is an event that takes place every year in my city and is becoming increasingly popular among the Monagas community.
Este evento deportivo y recreativo tiene como propósito principal darle visibilidad a la lucha contra el cáncer de mama. El objetivo más importante es concientizar a la comunidad femenina sobre la importancia de la detención temprana de esta grave enfermedad que afecta mayormente a las mujeres, pero también a hombres. La empresa pilar encargada de organizar este evento cada año es el Centro Comercial Servimas ubicado al norte de la ciudad de Maturín el cual cuenta con la ayuda y patrocinio de muchas empresas y emprendimientos del sector.
The main purpose of this sporting and recreational event is to raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer. The most important objective is to educate the female community about the importance of early detection of this serious disease, which mainly affects women, but also men. The main company responsible for organizing this event each year is the Servimas Shopping Center, located in the north of the city of Maturín, which receives the support and sponsorship of many companies and businesses in the sector.
La actividad principal es la carrera y caminata 5K en donde participan no sólo mujeres, sino también hombres, niños y toda la familia en general. Esta la segunda vez que participo en este evento y me ha fascinado vivir esta bonita experiencia acompañada de mi hija, mi hermana y mis sobrinos.
Cada año se incluyen nuevas dinámicas que permiten que todos los que asisten, se diviertan, pero también que aprendan sobre esta importante lucha.
The main activity is the 5K run and walk, in which not only women participate, but also men, children, and the whole family in general. This is the second time I have participated in this event, and I have loved sharing this wonderful experience with my daughter, my sister, and my nephews.
Every year, new activities are included that allow everyone who attends to have fun, but also to learn about this important cause.
En este evento también se rinde homenaje a todas esa mujeres resilientes sobrevivientes de esta enfermedad, quienes se suben a tarima y comparten un poco de su experiencia para enseñarnos que debemos cuidarnos y estar atentas a los cambios de nuestro cuerpo, acudir al médico y hacernos un chequeo con frecuencia.
Fue una experiencia muy bonita y espero volver a participar en las próximas ediciones de este evento tan importante.

This event also pays tribute to all those resilient women who have survived this disease, who take to the stage and share a little of their experience to teach us that we must take care of ourselves and be attentive to changes in our bodies, see a doctor, and get checked regularly.
It was a very nice experience, and I hope to participate again in future editions of this important event.
