*Hello Hivers! I'm back again with another blog. Come with me as we discover the cute cafe in Compostela, Cebu. Do you love morning foods, pastries, and coffee? Well, District V Cafe offers sophisticated foods that make you want to visit again and again. As a person who is not into coffee, we still tried their coffee.* (Don't judge me because of that time they had no other drinks available, so we had no choice but to order their coffee.)😆    ---   # Warm Welcome and Good Ambiance   District V Cafe looks so fantastic when you're still outside. As we entered, we easily felt welcomed, and the staff that time was approachable. She accommodates us even if we're having a hard time deciding what to order. They have a lot of patience, though. 😆 Although we are a bit disappointed because some foods and drinks are not available at that time, we still feel welcome. The vibes are great from the several wooden tables and chairs, as well as a counter with high chairs, which makes it more rustic. From its brown theme and the way the light pours in, it creates a more comfortable and intriguing atmosphere. The place is a fantastic and perfect location to unwind, study, date, and bond with your family with a cup of coffee and good sweets.     The design of the cafe has a distinctive feature where it is placed at the top with a huge, wooden shelf in the shape of the letter "V.". The shelf has a lot of books and ornamental objects such as bottles and a framed photograph, which makes it more catching to the eyes of the customers. If you love reading books, you will be fascinated by it, and it makes you want to get and read it.   Their lights are elegant; I love how they hang, and the color of it fits the ambiance or place. The cafe appears to be warm and pleasant, ideal for reading or drinking coffee. The cozy glow of the lamps creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, giving a rustic design vibe.       ---- ## Good Food, Happy Tummy The food looks so delicious! They have an American-style menu. Which is ideal for breakfast or if you want brunch. The food and drinks are affordable, and their serving is big and worth its price. The price range of their menu is from 99 to 150 pesos only. That's how affordable it is. We ordered their bacon waffle, K-sandwich, and two iced coffees, the mocha and caramel macchiato. The mocha has a strong flavor, which I was a bit surprised about, but it's delicious, while their caramel macchiato is good and exactly to my preferred taste as a non-coffee lover.  The sunlight makes it appear warm and inviting. I and my friends also ordered their skillet, which we enjoyed eating, and it suits our taste. We are satisfied with what we ordered because of its big servings and their fast serving of foods.       ### Tips when you go there If you don't want crowded people when you go there, don't come at lunchtime because it has a lot of people, and the space inside is not that big, although on the outside it has tables and chairs, but it's hot, and you won't enjoy your food. I suggest before lunch or after lunch to avoid many people.    #### Where you can discover District V Cafe   District V Cafe is located at Guimbal Road, Brgy. Canamucan, Compostela, Cebu. Beside Virginia Food Corporation, or VFI plant. To get there you're commuting; if you're travelling from the south, Guimbal Road or Skina Guimbal is next to Compostela Municipal Hall, and if you're from the north, it is near or next to Green Lagoon.    You can also tell the Jeepney driver or bus driver that your destination is "skina guimbal.". From Skina Guimbal, take a motorcycle ride for only 15 pesos. There are a lot of motorcycle riders that can take you to District V at Skina Guimbal Road.  --- For those looking to get away from the busyness of the city, this cafe is a hidden gem in Cebu's northern part.
