Hoy quiero hablarles de cómo ha sido la adaptación de mis niños al nuevo hogar. De verdad me siento súper feliz porque la adaptación ha sido tan buena y rápida, pensé a que tal vez les costaría un poco, sobre todo porque estuvieron mucho tiempo acostumbrados a vivir con muchísimas personas: sus abuelos, sus tíos y todos en un mismo lugar. Nosotros vivíamos en un cuarto en la casa de mi suegra. No era lo correcto, pero no teníamos para dar un paso más allá. Cuando mi hijo enfermó, sabíamos que debíamos alejarnos de esa contaminación y de todo lo que no estaba bien. Así que dimos el paso de irnos alquilados para un anexo en el centro de Cagua, donde solo viviríamos nosotros cuatro juntos. Al fin habíamos tomado esa decisión.

Today I want to talk to you about how my kids have adapted to our new home. I truly feel super happy because their adaptation has been so good and fast, even though I thought it might be a little difficult for them, especially because they were used to living with a lot of people: their grandparents, their aunts and uncles, all in one place. We used to live in one room at my mother-in-law's house. It wasn't right, but we didn't have the means to take a step further. When my son got sick, we knew we had to get away from that contamination and everything that wasn't good. So we took the step of renting an annex in the center of Cagua, where only the four of us would live together. We had finally made that decision.

Aunque fueron unas feas circunstancias las que nos obligaron a tomar esta decisión que yo siempre había querido hacer, la verdad fue lo mejor. Aquí mi hijo tuvo una recuperación extraordinaria. A pesar de su operación y su condición, aquí se curó por completo. A las semanas nos enteramos que ya la púrpura no existía más en su organismo, que sus plaquetas estaban estables, que su cicatriz estaba perfectamente curada y él estaba tan feliz y cambiado en solo unos días. La verdad, estamos muy felices.

Even though it was some bad circumstances that forced us to make this decision that I had always wanted to make, the truth is it was the best thing. Here, my son had an extraordinary recovery. Despite his surgery and his condition, here he was completely cured. A few weeks later we found out that the purpura no longer existed in his body, that his platelets were stable, that his scar was perfectly healed and he was so happy and changed in just a few days. The truth is, we are very happy.

Cambiar de lugar nos abrió más puertas, nos devolvió la tranquilidad y la energía es otra. Mis hijos se adaptaron tan bien, les gusta este nuevo lugar, se sienten felices y tranquilos, que es lo que más me importa. Lo único malo es que no tenemos mucho espacio para jugar, pero hemos tratado de compensar eso con salidas por la tarde al porche o salidas a la plaza a caminar. Ahora hacemos las compras juntos, salimos más a menudo porque tenemos cerca el centro y podemos hacer compras más juntos.

Changing places opened more doors for us, it gave us back our peace of mind and the energy is different. My children adapted so well, they like this new place, they feel happy and calm, which is what matters most to me. The only bad thing is that we don't have a lot of space to play, but we have tried to make up for that with outings in the afternoon to the porch or trips to the plaza to walk. Now we do the shopping together, we go out more often because the center is close and we can do shopping more together.

Aquí he tenido mi privacidad, estoy tranquila con mis bebés y conmigo misma. Aquí tengo la libertad de hacer todo mi trabajo y las cosas con mis bebés de manera más tranquila, sin correr tanto con el reloj. Here I have had my privacy, I am at peace with my babies and with myself. Here I have the freedom to do all my work and things with my babies in a calmer way, without rushing so much with the clock. But without a doubt, the best part of all was seeing how my children feel here. Of course, the grandparents and aunts and uncles come to visit often, and when they arrive, it's to play and have fun with them, and they have an incredible time.

Este cambio fue algo bueno para nuestra familia. Ahora estamos pensando en mucho más allá: queremos nuestra casita. Queremos tener nuestro lugar con un patio para que mis niños disfruten cada segundo en su nueva casa que se que en el nombre de Dios pronto tendremos. Tal vez esto no es algo propio, pero es lo mejor para comenzar y es increíble.

This change was a good thing for our family. Now we are thinking much further ahead: we want our own little house. We want to have our own place with a yard so my children can enjoy every second in their new home, which I know in the name of God we will soon have. Maybe this is not our own place, but it's the best way to start and it's incredible.
