Hence it is the most primary thing we have to hold onto as Christians as we journey through life. Everything that God demands from us as Christians starts and ends with obedience. If we want to be at peace with God and do His will, we should learn how to obey His commandments, which includes loving one another, being our brothers keeper, forgiving each other, studying and practicing God's word etc. all these commandments are tied to obedience. Even having faith and fearing God is tied to obedience. In the book of 1 Corinthians 12 ,apostle Paul summed it all to the people in Corinth by telling them theat the conclusion of everything we need to do as Christians is to fear God and keep His commandments. So everything we need to do or become as a Christian is tied to our obedience to God's will.
Pride is an enemy of obedience. The enemy uses pride to fill the hearts of men in other to disobey God's will . Partial or delayed obedience is no obedience. Obedience means total compliance.
