I went to a restaurant tonight to play a music trivia game. The DJ played a sample of 25 songs and you had to identify the song title and artist. There were 4 rounds with prizes and a grand prize. I won 2 rounds and the grand prize.
You might have imagined that I'd be a winner if you read my blog here. I talk about all kinds of music when I post about music, and that seems to be around half the time.
So I won the first round even though I walked in during the 4th song, so I had no answer for the first 3. I walked in on a song called Duke of Earl by Gene Chandler from I'd say 1960 or so. Let's drop that in here!

I thought that this was a relatively unknown oldie but maybe I'm wrong? This video of it, one of many on YouTube, has 2.2 Million views! Do you know this oldie? it's kind of a fun song song to sing. Hope you enjoyed it!
My Activity
for this Summer day was not much as I slept late for once. It was not that nice outside anyway so I didn't miss a chance for any outside activity.
The trivia thing was around dinner time so I had a burger there and some beers. I met up with a girl friend who helped me a little in the later rounds. Have you every played a trivia thing like this in a bar or restaurant? Do you like trivia in general? I used to like playing Trivial Pursuit but haven't payed it in some time.
At night I did get out for a walk. It was hot and humid so I didn't go as far as I wanted to. I did see the moon! But just briefly as it was low in the sky. It looked egg shaped! :O I'd say it was about 3/4 full and waning. Did anyone else get to enjoy a walk under the moon lately?
Have a Great Day Everyone!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
