Hello hiver. It a beautiful day . I'm here to share one of old paintings to you, actually this painting is school assignment. I painted this work during school stick the school was short down for some we all take online classes, so the assignment was given to me that I should paint a four traditional drums of my state.
I did a composition of four different drum which is gbongbon (the most popular drum in Yoruba land also knows as talking drum),iyailu this drum look like gbongbon but is big in size, sekere (shakers) and omele is drum has tree faces they sound differently.
This drum are most popular drum in Yoruba no even in Yoruba you will without seeing this four drugs they play a big roll in Yoruba culture.
