Hello Hivers of the World! Welcome one more day to my blog. I hope they are super well. How did you spend this weekend? For me it was too short, the working week should have only 4 days as they tried it in England. 🥹 But that's not what we came to talk about. Lately, I've been eating away from home, a habit I'm not used to, but sometimes it's not bad at all, I even know restaurants I didn't know, like on this occasion. That is why this time I want to talk about El Wok de Jinis.
I confess that this is not the first time I have tried their food. On my birthday a friend sent me a surprise combo from this place, but everyone at home really liked the food. However, we did not know where he was from. And yesterday Sunday my grandfather wanted to eat this Chinese rice. So I asked my friend if he could share the site where he bought it. And he of course agreed.
It turns out that this restaurant has two branches, my friend sent me, I guess, from the one in La Concordia because it is close to his house, although he now lives in the USA. And we decided to try the food from the new branch located in the Mestizos food fair in Barrio Obrero. So previously from home I asked for the menu by WhatsApp, to define from home with my grandfather what we were going to order.
They have good prices and good combos, we decided on a $20 family combo, which includes 2 pots of Special Chinese Rice, 1 pot of Sweet and Sour Chicken, 1 pot of Chip Suey, 1 Traditional Lumpia Service (it brings two lumpia) , 1 2-liter soft drink, 4 breads and sweet and sour sauce. Quite resolved for the price of the service.
The truth was that everything was very good, for me it is the best rice in the city. I would order it again. I'm even tempted to order next time, a personal combo that they have for only $2.5. So later I'll be telling you if I ask.

¡Hola Hivers del Mundo! Bienvenidos un día más a mi blog. Espero que se encuentren súper bien. ¿Como pasaron este fin de semana? Para mí fue demasiado corto, la semana laboral debería tener solo 4 días como lo probaron en Inglaterra. 🥹 Pero de eso no venimos a conversar. Últimamente, he estado comiendo fuera de casa, hábito que no acostumbro, pero que a veces no cae nada mal, incluso conozco restaurantes que no conocía, como en esta ocasión. Es por eso que en esta oportunidad quiero hablarles de El Wok de Jinis.
Les confieso que está no es la primera vez que pruebo su comida. El día de mi cumpleaños un amigo me envió de sorpresa un combo de este sitio, pero a todos en casa nos gusto mucho la comida. Sin embargo, no sabíamos de dónde era. Y ayer Domingo mi abuelo tenía ganas de comer arroz chino de este. Así que le pregunté a mi amigo si me podía compartir el sitio donde lo compró. Y el por supuesto accedió.
Resulta que este restaurante tiene dos sucursales, mi amigo me envió supongo yo del de la Concordia porque esta cerca de su casa, aunque el ahora vive en USA. Y nosotros decidimos probar la comida de la nueva sucursal ubicada en la feria de comida Mestizos en Barrio Obrero. Así que previamente desde casa pedí el menú por WhatsApp, para definir desde casa con mi abuelo lo que íbamos a pedir.
Tienen buenos precios y buenos combos, nosotros nos decidimos por un combo familiar de 20$, el cual trae 2 potes de Arroz Chino Especial, 1 pote de Pollo agridulce, 1 pote de Chip Suey, 1 Servicio de Lumpias tradicionales (trae dos lumpias), 1 Refresco de 2 litros, 4 panes y salsa agridulce. Bastante resuelto por el precio del servicio.
La verdad estaba muy bueno todo, para mí es el mejor arroz de la ciudad. Volvería a pedirlo. Incluso estoy tentada a pedir una próxima vez, un combo personal que tienen tan solo por 2,5$. Así que más adelante les estaré contando si lo pido.
