On Monday, July 14th, I nearly got late for school because I was watching Seven deadly sins and lost track of time, thanks to my mum, who came to give my daily dose of scolding ๐ because I was on my phone. she is a teacher at the school I'm doing my teaching practice at.
I quickly took my bath , and got ready, I couldn't even take my breakfast at home, had pack it with me. My mum left earlier than me .
I hopped on my baby, my sole means of transport, which was handed down to me from my big sis ๐. I'm yet to get her a name. She's quite old but she's a good girl, and very reliable.
As a responsible bike owner ๐ had make a quick stop at the fuel station.
Afterwards I went straight to School. At school then headmistress assigned me to KG2,
I've been to the school several times because my mum works there but this was different this time I was there to teach. When I got there, the headmistress assigned me to a KG2. No teaching but just observation first, then prepare my lesson notes for the next day. The Teacher to whom's class I was assigned to , Madam Ramatu was so welcoming and ready to guide me, she's basically the god of patience. She walked me through her lesson plan. Which was on Weather.
after the first lesson was done, the kids went out for break and we did writing practice on the keywords on the what she taught earlier when break was over.
I helped Madam supervise the kids and guide them throughout. Afterwards we went for break again. And continued with the writing when they got back.
The kids were so adorable, won't lie they can be stubborn and noisy, one minute they are concentrated on the work the next minute they going about their own business.
It felt as my voice was competing with tiny megaphones ๐. Omg, i thought the kids would be shy towards me because i was new in their class, but jokes on me ๐ it was as if they had known me since they started school. It was a nice experience for me.
This made remember some memories from my early childhood days , some memories were vague though.
A BIG SHOUT-OUT TO ALL EARLY GRADE TEACHERS
Thanks for stopping by ๐
