If there's one thing I've ever truly wanted it would be a cat, yes I have always wanted to pet one, not any other peculiar animal people do not usually pet, but just a regular cute cat. Ever since I was a child, I've been obsessed with the idea of having one of those fluffy , independent yet affectionate creatures as my own.
I spent years trying to convince my parents to let me have one but no matter how hard I pleaded, they always had an excuse ready. Especially my dad, "They litter too much" they would say or "they'll poop on the bed. Well I'll admit the poop on the bed excuse was a bit dramatic though it can happen, but the litter part was a fair point. Cats do multiple quickly if you are not careful, then all of a sudden you're running a feline daycare. Still none of their excuses ever changed my mind. Plus most cats I know are clean and do not poop anyhow 😂.
Cats are just too perfect, adorable and intelligent and good at coexisting with humans. Sure they can be stubborn, knocking things off the table but that is all part of their charm. They are low maintenance as compared to some eots and their personalities range from clingy to aloof so there is a cat for everyone 😂. I've always imagined coming home to one.
Even in university, the dream persisted, I briefly considered getting a kitten but then what would I do with it when the semester ended ? My parents house is a no go for cats 😂 and I cannot also smuggle one in unnoticed. So I had to reluctantly accept reality and keep waiting for that day to come.
One day, when I finally move out and have my own space, I will get a cat of my own, and not just any cat, I'm thinking a male preferably an orange one, ash or maybe black. A male means no suprise litters, 😂 I'm not ready to a grandparent. I can already picture it, my future orange cat judging me across the room 😂 or a black sleek cat jumping around my room.
Until then I'll just settle with admiring cats from a distance, watching cat videos and memes, but mark my words the moment I get my own space, that furry little dream will finally come to reality, and when it happens I'll will send tons of pics to my house people 😂 I'll definitely carry them along whenever I go to see them 😁. And show them how how great it is to have a cat
