Late Upload, Lasting Vibes: Our Sinulog Festival Celebration!

**Hi, Hive!** It's me again @khirstin back again with another blog. Enjoy reading!  This blog is all about ✨ **Late Upload, Lasting Vibes: Our Sinulog Festival Celebration!** ✨ Before anything else, I just want to let you all know that this is a late upload. If you're not familiar about Sinulog Festival, I will list some facts that I know about it. Correct me if I'm wrong and comment on some facts that you also know about the festival. **Four Sinulog Festival Facts**  **✓** Sinulog Festival is held every January. **✓** It honors the Santo Niño, or what we call the Child Jesus. **✓** Sinulog is both a religious and cultural celebration. **✓** Devotees, like me, shouts “Viva Pit Senior!” during the celebration. **Flashback January 26, 2025**  Before the festival started, me and my friends decided to do our group project at the beach. Our group project was about sports so, we decided to play beach volleyball. I am not really into sports so everytime the ball would go to me or I would just run away from the ball. My friends were laughing at me. After an exhausting beach volleyball game, we decided to take a break. This is me and my friend Eli!  She is so pretty. After our mini break, we decided to go to a coffee shop called “WORTHY SPOT” to eat and drink some snacks.  Group Picture! While eating our snacks, the street dance started and we saw our classmates.  I experienced street dancing when I was still in elementary and it was so exhausting. Contingent Number 2  Simple yet creative. My favorite costume.  I really love when the colors white and yellow are matched together. While watching the street dancers perform, I saw a cute baby dressed up like a Santo Niño.  She's so cute.  After watching some street dancing performance, we decided to go to the church and pray while waiting for the grand showdown.  When the grand showdown started, we only watched the first three contingents since we were so hungry. We decided to prioritize our needs first.  After eating we decided to watch the reigning champions to see if they're still deserving, and while I was watching them I was literally so amazed. They deserve it. After watching some performance, decided to go home since it's already 4:30 PM and our parents might worry if we will stay there and go home late.  **That's all for this blog. Thanks for reading!**
