This painting was one of my class works during ND. The subject was simple, but it carried a lot of meaning. Pepper is something we see every day, yet when placed on canvas, it becomes more than just a spice, it becomes art.
Through this piece, I learned how to study form, light, and color carefully. The bright red of the pepper challenged me to capture its intensity, while the shadows tested my patience with detail.
What I love most about this work is that it reminds me how art can transform ordinary objects into something worth paying attention to. Even the smallest items around us can tell a story when we take the time to observe and paint them.
