Hello @worldmappin community friends. How are you all? I hope you are all well and healthy. You all may know that I like to share my travel experiences to historical places with you. Today I am going to share my travel experience to one such place with you. This is a museum and not an ordinary museum. This is the Air Force Museum where you can see many old warplanes. The Air Force Museum is controlled by the Bangladesh Air Force. It is located next to the airport in Jessore city. We have had a lot of experiences after visiting this museum. I hope you will enjoy sharing those experiences with you. This museum carries the glorious history of the Bangladesh Air Force. Today I will share with you the experience of how I felt after visiting this museum. I hope you will enjoy reading today's blog and learn about the unknown history of the Bangladesh Air Force. So let's get started.

In the last episode, I shared with you my experience of visiting Jessore Collectorate Bhaban. My friend and I went to Jessore from our district town, first by bus to the neighboring upazila town of Alamdanga. From Alamdanga, we took a train to Jessore. After reaching Jessore, we first went to visit Jessore Collectorate Bhaban. Many of you liked our Jessore Collectorate Bhaban episode. After visiting Jessore Collectorate Bhaban, we went to visit Jessore Air Force Museum. To visit Jessore Air Force Museum, we took an auto rickshaw from Jessore Collectorate Bhaban to Jessore Air Force Museum. As soon as we got down near the museum, we saw a big gate. Seeing the gate filled our hearts. I took a beautiful picture of the gate. "BAF Museum Jessore" is beautifully written on the gate. We entered inside by purchasing a ticket. We were surprised after entering. The first thing that caught our eye was a big rocket-like object. At first we didn't understand what this thing was because none of us were Air Force personnel or we were not very experienced in space research. So we searched the internet and took a picture of it. Then we asked a member of the Air Force staff there what the rocket-like object was. I had already suspected the answer he gave me. He said it was a demo space shuttle model that the magician had kept to give visitors an idea of space technology. But it was not an original or real rocket. Seeing this, I thought its design was modeled after the American NASA space shuttle model. You can see and understand it if you look closely at the picture above.

When we went to the Air Force Museum to tour. It was around noon, so the pressure of visitors was a little less at that time. So we were very comfortable. Then we went a little further and saw a training plane that used to fly in the sky. But now it has a place in the museum because it has become obsolete. I think this is probably a PT-6 model training plane. When new pilots of fighter aircraft undergo training, they are first trained with this plane. There is a big propeller or fan in front of this plane, you can understand it if you look at the picture above. We touched the plane with our hands. It is amazing to think that the planes that used to take off in the sky at one time, we are now touching the planes with our hands. Through this plane, the pilots first get a basic idea of controlling the landing of the plane and receive training.

Then we moved forward a little and saw a big fighter aircraft. I was fascinated by the fighter aircraft because I had seen many aircraft from a distance before, fighter aircraft but I had never seen one this close. So I went closer to the aircraft with interest. Later, I climbed up the stairs attached to the aircraft. Although it is currently a useless fighter aircraft, it was still nice to think that at some point it had flown in the skies of Bengal, and at some point it had also fired missiles. I went closer to the aircraft, climbed up the stairs, went to the cockpit of the aircraft and saw everything working with my hands. I tried to give a picture of the inside of the cockpit of the aircraft and put it above it. You will understand if you look closely. Then I sat on the glass above the cockpit of the aircraft and took a picture to keep as a memory. This was the first time in my life that I had come into contact with a fighter aircraft, although it is no longer used. This plane was a 910 series plane. I don't know the exact model. Because I don't have any experience with this kind of thing. But it has 910 written on it. You can understand it if you look closely at the pictures above.

Then we went a little further and noticed that a radar had been installed. Almost all of you have some idea about radar. Using radar, enemy warplanes, drones, attack helicopters, and missiles are detected within a certain airspace. This radar was used earlier but is now useless. That is why it also has a place in the museum. We saw the radar very closely.

After finishing the radar, we went a little further ahead. We saw another training aircraft. I told you about this before.

From there, we come a little forward and see another notable aircraft among the aircraft lined up. This aircraft is a T-33 model subsonic jet training aircraft. This aircraft has a great connection with the Bangladesh Liberation War. Many of you may know, while many do not know, that Bangladesh was previously a colony of Pakistan. Bangladesh gained independence from Pakistan in 1971. During the Liberation War in 1971, an Air Force officer of this Bangladesh, Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Sir, flew this aircraft from Pakistan to Bangladesh to participate in the Liberation War of Bangladesh while working in Pakistan. Then at one point, he lost control a few kilometers away from the Indian border and was martyred. The Bangladesh Air Force remembers his heroic efforts for the country with respect. That is why the Bangladesh Air Force has kept an aircraft of this model here in reserve and is trying to inform the people of the country about its history. If you look at the pictures above, you will understand that there is detailed information about this in English. If you want, you can read it. Then I hope you will understand.

Then we went a little further and saw another fighter aircraft of the F-6 series. Since it was also a fighter aircraft, we went around it and touched it with our hands. Actually, my childhood dream was to become a pilot and fly planes in the sky, but I did not know how to become a pilot. So I did not become a pilot. But my interest in aircraft remained. According to the information provided by the Air Force, this aircraft served in the Bangladesh Air Force until 1998.

After seeing the F-6 fighter jet, we went a little further and saw a T-37 training aircraft. This training aircraft was used for development training in the Bangladesh Air Force. According to the Air Force, this training aircraft was used in the Bangladesh Air Force until 2011.

From there, I went a little further and saw many more training aircraft arranged in rows. Among them were PT-6 series aircraft. There were also T-37 series training aircraft. I went very close and saw all the aircraft. This is where the aircraft exhibition of this museum ended.

After inspecting the aircraft, we looked to the left and saw a mysterious room. I walked towards the room. When I went there, I saw that I had to pay a ticket of 10 taka to enter this room. We paid a ticket of 10 taka to enter this room. Upon entering the room, I saw a climate-controlled environment. This room contains a lot of information about the Bangladesh Air Force. There is information about the aircraft, helicopters of the Bangladesh Air Force, as well as various important personalities of the Bangladesh Air Force.

Then there is special information about the contribution of the Bangladesh Air Force to the Bangladesh Liberation War. There are also pictures of seven Bir Shrestha who made a lot of contributions to the Bangladesh Liberation War. Among them is one of the Bangladesh Air Force whose story I shared with you earlier. Bir Shrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman who tried to come to Bangladesh by plane from Pakistan to participate in the Liberation War. Seeing the beautiful environment of this room, I could not help but take a picture as a memory. So I took a picture inside this room as a memory. You will understand if you look at the photos above.

Coming out of the air-conditioned room, we saw many places for children to play. I think this is not just a museum, it is a good place to get mental refreshment. Because the environment inside is very beautiful. There are many means of playing for small children here, such as trains, rotating swings, seesaws, etc.

Coming a little further, I saw another swing for the kids. There are also many facilities like boats and electric bike rides. In a word, this place is a very beautiful and perfect place to travel with the family.

Then the thing I liked the most here is that there is a beautiful lake here. There are also boats in this lake. Anyone, young or old, can ride this boat. It is also decorated with various statues. At the end, I took a pic of myself at a beautiful sitting area on the bank of the lake to leave a memory. This was the description of the beauty of the Bangladesh Air Force Museum. I hope you liked it a lot.
