First of all, what you’re about to read is a real-life occurrence, and I decided to come up real and tag the person involved. After all, I’m no longer aiming at anything, and if the relationship wants to scatter, it should scatter. Was there even a relationship that wanted to get scattered? Lol.Also, I don’t mind if the lady’s guys come after me, I have “odeshi.”
So, I found out some years ago that my voice has a way of enchanting people because it’s deeply masculine. Of course, I’m a guy. I had it confirmed by so many of my female friends that I can’t dare to tag except I want fire and brimstone to fall like rain.
When I met @zellypearl (yes, I tagged her and she no go fit do anything) and we got talking, she was tough and still is, just like the trending Ibom Hostesses. I wanted to get her melted down quickly so I could have my way and finally get into her heart to do whatsoever I wanted to do.
One of the days we were having a long conversation on Discord, it was late, close to midnight, and I knew she was alone because if she was with a guy then, she wouldn’t have been replying back-to-back.
So, I decided to pull the string. I made a very deep voice note, the kind that the romantic nature of bedtime fine-tunes, and I sent it to her. I quickly went offline, hoping to get a heart-stolen response by a voice note, but I waited and waited. I didn’t get anything. I assumed she had fallen already and was probably finding suitable words to send as feedback, but no, that didn’t happen. I summoned the courage to return to Discord to see if she had seen or listened to the voice note, but she didn’t.
“I sent you a message oooh. Didn’t you listen?” I typed and sent.
“OGA, MAYBE YOU DON’T KNOW, I DON’T LISTEN TO VOICE NOTES.”
She typed that in capital letters, which means she shouted, and I could feel everything in the sentence.
At first, I thought she was joking or had listened and didn’t want to reply (okay, she actually listened. Lol), but she remained adamant.
By that time, the Adam nature in me came out ruggedly, and I matched up with her adamant lifestyle too. I knew that the only ticket I had to soften her impenetrable heart was to use my voice trick, so I began to spam her with voice notes. She still snubbed, but when she finally listened and responded to one, she picked against the content and began to judge me like judges in the heavenly judiciary panel. And I kept wondering because it was obvious the voice I was hoping would work some magic didn’t do anything. But the good thing is that my advances were not all totally void because it migrated the little friendship to a space I never imagined. 😅
