My evening routine with badminton 🏸

Hello friends! 🌸 For my daily routine today, it was just a short session—about 1 hour and 30 minutes 🕒 of evening exercise after work. It’s one of my favorite activities because I get to enjoy playing with my friends while exercising 🏸😊. At first, I thought playing badminton wouldn’t be that tiring, but once I started, it turned out to be more intense than I expected! It really works out the whole body—thinking, moving my legs, and using my arms 💪🔥. But honestly, it’s not bad at all—it’s so much fun! 🎉

  • I usually play badminton every Monday and Wednesday after work 🗓️, about 1 to 1.5 hours each time ⏳. It has also helped me drink more water 💧, since I normally don’t drink enough. This routine has become a good habit that’s improving my health and well-being 🥰✨.

Actually, the badminton court where I play is not far from my place at all—it’s really convenient and I feel lucky about that 🍀. It only takes around 5–8 minutes to get there 🚗. One of the good things about living in the countryside is that there’s no traffic, so I don’t waste much time traveling.

Besides the badminton courts on the ground floor, there’s also a fitness center upstairs 🏋️‍♂️. I’ve noticed that most people usually come to play badminton after 7:00 p.m., but my group usually starts earlier, around 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 🕠➡️🕖. I think that’s the perfect time since it’s not too crowded.

At the entrance of the building, there’s a customer service counter where they also sell drinks, sportswear, and shoes 👟🥤. I usually buy a 1-liter bottle of water there every time, as a way to train myself to drink more water 💧a small habit that’s been good for me.

This green badminton racket has become my favorite one 🏸💚. I’ve gotten so used to playing with it that whenever I switch to another racket, it just doesn’t feel as comfortable or natural anymore.

Today, we rented 2 badminton courts 🏸. We thought many friends would come, but since it wasn’t very crowded, we ended up playing 2 people per court. Normally, we play 4 people per court, which is much more fun because you get to play as a team, plan your positions, and coordinate with each other 🤝.

Playing as a team like that takes some time before everyone really clicks together. Sometimes, we like to go on mini-tours to play with other teams, so we can get used to it and not feel nervous during serious matches 😅💪. At my workplace, there’s an annual sports competition 🏆, and badminton is one of the events we compete in.

Look at me after finishing badminton 🏸💦—tired, but having so much fun, and I also got a good workout 💪. I’m completely soaked in sweat 😅. It’s definitely another sport that I really enjoy playing!
