Hello Wednesday walkers.❤️
How are you? I hope you guys are doing well. Back again with more great activities with Wednesday walk
It was actually supposed to be just a short walking trip of mine in Bangkok 🚶♀️, but as I kept walking, I started to think… maybe it’s not such a short trip after all 😅 hehe. My walk was sometime last week, because I planned to walk to a shopping mall, which is about 4–6 kilometers from where I stay.
Most of the time, if I want to go to the shopping mall, I choose to walk because the traffic here is really bad 🚗🚦. Walking isn’t so bad though it lets me enjoy the surroundings along the way 😊
I started my walk from where I stay, and of course, I couldn’t miss the chance to take photos of the flowers 🌸📷.
I really like this place because there are trees and flowers along the path around my accommodation 🌿🌼. It gives me such a refreshing feeling, and there’s no way I could skip pulling out my phone to capture some beautiful flower shots to share with my friends 😊🌺✨.
One of the good things about walking here is that there are clearly defined footpaths for pedestrians 🚶♀️🛣️.
As I walked along the road, there were some parts that were quite open and clear, but the closer I got to the mall, the heavier the traffic became 🚗.
The goal of coming here was to pick out a gift for one of my coworkers who’s moving on to a new job 🎁 It was a bit hard and made me feel a little sad, but I’m also happy for their success and career growth 😊💼. I really like shopping malls in Bangkok because, to be honest, they offer a wide variety of modern products and much more selection compared to malls in other provinces 🛍️.
Though, in some areas of Bangkok—especially in tourist zones—prices can be quite high 💸. I ended up buying the gift from a shop called Moji, which sells Japanese products 🇯🇵. I think the product quality there is quite good! At first, I thought I’d just spend a short time choosing something, but it turned out to be the opposite 😂
I spent nearly two hours walking around the Moji shop because I was enjoying browsing all the cute and eye-catching items 🌀 In the end, I picked out a nice shirt for my coworker 👔😊.
- After buying a gift for my friend, that pretty much wrapped up my main mission 🎁 The next step? A gift for myself, of course — hehe 😄 And that gift was… a badminton racket! 🏸I’ve now been working in the countryside for about three months. I’d say it’s been pretty great for me so far. Living outside of Bangkok has given me more opportunities to exercise and hang out with workout buddies, which makes everything more fun 💪👯♀️.
If I were still in Bangkok, after work I’d probably just go straight back to my room to watch movies or cook something. That’s because getting home in Bangkok usually takes quite a while due to heavy traffic 🚗💤. As for the weather in the countryside — I’d say it’s pretty nice too. But let’s not go off track! 😅 So back to my walk — I was browsing for a badminton racket to play with my group of friends.
It took me a while to decide because there were so many tempting colors and features in each model. In the end, I chose a Yonex racket — it’s green and lightweight, and I really like it! 💚🏸And that wraps up my walking trip — now I’m all set to enjoy my new racket and hit the court with my gang! 🏸😁🎉
