Alright HIVE folk. I'm way the fuck behind on HIVE dev stuff, basically multiple years at this point which is beyond a bit of embarrassing and have a solid need to finish and renew my HIVE services to generate income as well as deliver on projects that are years behind. Currently not in a great financial situation as sort of fell off / "crashed out" the past few years..

But alas, gotta refocus.

Hive Loans Development & QA Testing Restarts

I've recently put some Hive Power / HP into my @testdummy account to attempt to finish the Hive Loans project as far as the lending protocol goes.. Stuff like the futures market have been shelved as I was to ambitious with the original v1 scope. In the next few weeks (9 days to be exact) or so I'll be getting a Hive-Engine token going that will act as the de-facto "stock/share" if you will in the HL project, with 10% of the total available amount being held by folks from the first funding round many years back. I apologize to those who have had to wait so long.

It's never been out of want to fuck people over, out of malice or contempt that I stopped developing on it.. Simply put after I started calling out the high stake holder cabal I fell out of massive favour and wasn't able to fund further development, turns out that high stakeholder ego over-rules the need for HIVE to have any sort of developer support... The Fund meant to pay devs has basically a fraction of it's potential being used due to the gatekeeping of the top 20... But whatever..! I'm still barely at break even for my witness server, so any witness votes would be massive supports wise. :)

Slight Narrowing Project Scope to Get v1.0.0 Running!

Secondary functions of the HL project such as a bullet-proof means of account recovery given the absolute requirement for the HL account to be the recovery account on Lender accounts is an absolute must. My testing cycle is a week (standard 1/13th powerdown duration) which sucks absolute balls and makes the final leg of testing extremely slow and tedious, but populating a list of operations I need to finish testing and gonna do what I can to get the thing running before end of summer here in Canada. The amount of work left on the HL project isn't much.

I'd estimate if the scope is narrowed to the core functions of the project it's between 90% - 95% completed. Going to look at the list of things I need to ensure are working, then save the final set of minimum 7 day tests till the end..

Potential nefarious / malicious actions like the person taking the loan trying to change the divest route, attempting to change their account keys and whatnot I should be able to test somewhat quickly if I can get the project to run properly locally.. It was never meant to contact a 3rd party HIVE RPC Node and is built to use only the local HIVE instance for security reasons, so that is a bit of a hurdle to code around.. but can likely get HIAB running locally to facilitate that, or write in development branch able to use (my own) 3rd party API.

The logic that fires behind that NEEDS to be 100% bulletproof.

The Hive.Loans TLD/URL is Held By Someone Else at the Moment...

Just looked into renewing the Hive.Loans TLD/URL for the project only to see that someone else has sniped it, the renewal on it was almost $100 USD and I didn't have the capital to renew it at the time it came up.. There are other similar domain names but those are gonna cost around $130 USD which again is out of my price range at the moment, unless I've got financial backing from selling additional HLSHARE (which I am hesitant to do until I have the PoC / v1.0.0 site running due to potential bad optics) it's going to be as few months before I can afford that. In the mean time I've bought the Hive-Loans.site (currently redirects to my klye.net domain) URL/TLD which is not nearly as nice but was between 1/130 to 1/200 the price. If I had the cash to buy a better domain I would, I don't. So that will have to do for now.

⭐The Question to HLSHARE Holders⭐

The following users are the round 1 supporters of the development and together hold roughly 10,000 HLSHARE give or take a few hundred (which I refunded when asked, due to my RIDICULIOUS amount of being behind on the launch due to feature creep).

⭐The Question is This...⭐

I'd like to know if they would be ok with instead of 100,000 HLSHARE for 20% of the applications profits as originally stated that a total of 500,000 HLSHARE for 100% of the applications profits are something they would back?

No intention of ever letting all 500,000 HLSHARE hit the market as that nullifies ANY profits the application generates from being earned by myself.. I'm looking to by later today get a proper HLSHARE token going on Hive-Engine / TribalDex platform but wanted to ask the current HLSHARE holders if they were ok with the idea. Those listed below please let me know if you'd prefer the total HLSHARE count stay at 100,000 units for 20% of the site profit, or if I can go "fully public" so to speak and have 500,000 HLSHARE total for 100% of the sites profits. Posting this at ~5:30PM Local Time. At Midnight / 00:00 Local time September 1st, 2025 I'll do a tally of what the current HLSHARE holders wishes posted in the comments and then create and distribute the HLSHARE Hive-Engine tokens to holders. The @hive.loans account will be the owner of the token and I will be listing the 384 HLSHARE tokens for sale on Hive-Engine.com and TribalDex.com to see if I can get a small amount of capital to pay my server invoices up till the end of the year. 1:1 HLSHARE per HIVE price point will be what they are offered at. Additional HLSHARE may go up as well, with a maximum of 33% of the total site profit offered provided current HLSHARE holders are ok with 500,000 being issued instead of the 100,000.

Regardless of 100,000 or 500,000 HLSHARE each unit is entitled and ALWAYS will be entitled to 0.0002% worth of the site profit per HLSHARE held, this will not change and I have no intention of ever diluting the amount of site profit each share is worth, unless explicitly demanded by majority of HLSHARE holders. Was going to do monthly profit distribution but will look into real time profit sharing as I try and finish up the site before winter hits here. I think real time profit sharing is feasible as long as I can get enough Hive Power on the @Hive.Loans account.

As stated above no dilution of share value will take place, just making the project profit sharing 100% public possible, although I will always likely retain > 51% of the HLSHARE just so I maintain control and veto rights about the project.

Looks like 384 HLSHARE from the Original 10,000 HLSHARE round 1 were refunded upon the request of the person who'd purchased them. While I've very limited capital to do buy backs / refunds at the moment I will honour them where possible, Although my monthly amount of HIVE that I can power down vs my server bills leaves not a whole hell of a lot. The 1 HIVE = 1 HLSHARE selling point still applies. If anyone is interested in purchasing the 384 HLSHARE that I'd refunded please let me know, the money earned from that will be put towards the new domain the site will be served on as well as used to offset server infrastructure costs. All the support is very kind of you all.
