It's week 39, and apparently we've got a lovely theme for this week. In connection to the theme of this week, I'm sharing with y'all my presentation of a soundtrack from one of my favorite movies Pretty Woman. I heard this song for the first time when I saw this movie. The song was released 1987. And the movie Pretty Woman was released 1990.
Pretty Woman is a romantic movie - with a Cinderella concept; where a hustling street prostitute meets a multimillionaire businessman. And she fell in love with him. He had business to do in the city where she hustles. However after he concluded the business - which lasted a couple of days with both of them being together; he had to travel back home. But she wanted to travel with him, so that she becomes his girlfriend; and stops prostitution.
But he decided not to carry her with him. The song I presented was used as the soundtrack for the scenes when they were breaking up and going their separate ways. She was really hurt, because she was already in love with him. At the same time, he was confused because he knew he had caught feelings for her.
Long story short, he eventually changed his mind; and went in search of her. She was excited to see him, they kissed each other. And they lived happily ever after 😁😁😁. I really like the way the lyrics of the song carried the emotions in those scenes when they were separated, before they finally came into union. I hope you like my rendition of the song. And if you enjoy Cinderella kind of movies, Pretty Woman may be fun for you to watch 😍.
