Ready for an EPIC Pokemon Opalo episode?
In this one, we explored Abrega City to the fullest and saved thousands of people from the God of Death, Papa Loto! But yo, let’s take things one by one.
Everything started when I visited Abrega Port to meet up with Ixia. There was a live voodoo show happening, hosted by Verbena, the voodoo arts master of Abrega and owner of the Voodoo Hall. Ixia claimed Verbena was her friend, so after the show she rushed to her place to ask if she knew anything about the Cerifa Spirit Fragments. But before she could leave a surprise was waiting for us!
Derringer appeared and claimed he had a change of heart!
That’s right! The leader of Team Gatling survived after being found by Gym Leader Brezo half-dead up in the East Cerifa mountains. He said he wasn’t here to fight but to help us! Holy shit! He also warned Ixia not to go to Verbena’s house because she was evil… but Ixia refused to listen. And guess what? Derringer was right.
As soon as Ixia left, two bewitched people attacked us, and we immediately realized Verbena had sent them to capture us! We took them down and invaded the Voodoo Hall to save Ixia.
The place was HUGE and packed with bewitched trainers, wild Pokémon and a tough puzzle. After more than half an hour of battling and exploring, I finally found Ixia and told her to follow me so we could get the hell out of there. But of course, it couldn’t be that easy.
The moment we stepped outside, Verbena summoned the Death God Papa Loto to collect our souls and the souls of Abrega’s citizens. Turns out, Verbena had made a deal with him: he gave her magic, and she’d give him countless souls. And you guessed it... Papa Loto challenged me to a battle and the stakes were my soul and the second Spirit Fragment!
The battle was intense, but I managed to win and claim the second West Cerifa Spirit Fragment from Papa Loto! Hell yeah!
After I won, Papa Loto congratulated me (lol) and then sucked Verbena’s soul for failing to pay her debt. Well deserved! Everything went back to normal, and once again, I saved the damn day in West Cerifa hehe!
