Estuve jugando más tiempo al Rising Star y ya me estoy acostumbrando a la metodología de entrar, realizar misiones y esperar. Más o menos entiendo cómo funcionan los Starbits, y las estadísticas de la cuenta.
Después de una pequeña inversión en el juego, pude comprar fans y lecciones de canto para la suerte. Ahora estoy esperando para realizar estas lecciones de canto para subir skills. Requieren nivel 10 y yo soy nivel 8 por el momento, así que estaré realizando misiones, y este será mi próximo objetivo.
I've been playing Rising Star for a while now, and I'm getting used to the methodology of logging in, doing quests and waiting. I more or less understand how the Starbits work, and the account stats.
After a small investment in the game, I was able to buy fans and singing lessons for luck. I am now waiting to perform these singing lessons to raise skills. They require level 10 and I'm level 8 at the moment, so I'll be doing quests, and this will be my next goal.

¿Qué tal mientras subo de nivel hacemos una review de algunas releases de Kpop de la semana? Como introducción a este espacio quería hablarles sobre mis descubrimientos musicales de la semana, comenzando por esta.
Soy una persona que todo el tiempo está escuchando música, por lo que la necesidad de descubrir aún más canciones y artistas ha sido una actividad fascinante para mí estos últimos tiempos.
How about while I level up we do a review of some Kpop releases of the week? As an introduction to this space I wanted to tell you about my musical discoveries of the week, starting with this one.
I'm a person who is always listening to music, so the need to discover even more songs and artists has been a fascinating activity for me lately.
Por supuesto, hay consideraciones sobre esta sección y el análisis que se hará para que no sea la típica "este tema me gustó 7/10".
En esta sección se compondrá tanto del análisis de artistas que ya conozco como de artistas que no conozco. La idea es justamente, descubrir más música, por lo que estaré escuchando por supuesto nuevas releases de los artistas que me gustan, pero tampoco dejaré de lado aquellos que aún no son parte de mis Me Gusta.
Para analizarlos, escucharé no sólo la canción sino el álbum / single completo de donde esta haya salido. Esto me dará un margen mejor de análisis del artista y de la composición más que pensar solamente en una canción singular sin ningún tipo de conexto. La idea de este tipo de dinámicas es también identificar qué canción es buena para el álbum y cuales no lo son, o si es una canción floja pero no es necesariamente la canción principal del álbum, claramente la tendré en cuenta de una forma distinta.
Se analizará cada canción del álbum / single, y además, le daré un punaje a cada una, finalizando en un puntaje del álbum / single completo. Estos luego irán a un Excel donde tengo mis opiniones musicales formadas.
Sin nada más que decir, comencemos:
Of course, there are considerations about this section and the analysis that will be done so that it is not the typical ‘yeah I this track 7/10’.
This section will consist of both analysis of artists I already know and artists I don't know. The idea is to discover more music, so of course I will be listening to new releases of the artists I like, but I won't leave aside those who are not yet part of my ‘Liked Songs’.
To analyse them, I will listen not only to the song but to the whole album / single from which it came out. This will give me a better scope of analysis of the artist and the composition rather than just thinking about a singular song without any kind of connection. The idea of this kind of dynamic is also to identify which song is good for the album and which are not, or if it is a not so bad song but not necessarily the main song on the album, clearly I will think about it in a different way.
Each song on the album / single will be analysed, and in addition, I will give a score to each song, ending in a score for the whole album / single. These will then go into an Excel where I have my musical opinions formed.

Empecemos por GFriend.
GFriend fue un grupo de chicas formado por 6 integrantes bajo el sello discrográfico de Source Music, cuyos integrantes (según la imagen de arriba) son: Umji, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, Yerin y Sowon.
Sus canciones se caracterizan por ser canciones con un ritmo pegadizo, al mismo tiempo suaves pero sin dejar el impacto de lado, con coreografías vistozas y complicadas para lo que el K-Pop femenino usualmente ofrece.
Debutando en 2015 y ganando el corazón de muchos fans, lamentablemente este grupo se separaría en 2021 por no haber renovado los contratos de las integrantes. No obstante, las integrantes sacarían un álbum aniversario reuniéndose para lanzar una canción conmemorando esta fecha.

Let's start with GFriend.
GFriend was a 6-member girl group formed under the Source Music record label, whose members (as pictured above) are: Umji, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, Yerin and Sowon.
Their songs are characterised by a catchy, catchy beat that is at the same time smooth and yet not too soft, with choreography that is seen to be too complicated for what female K-Pop usually has to offer.
Debuting in 2015 and winning the hearts of many fans, the group would unfortunately break up in 2021 due to the non-renewal of the members' contracts. However, the members would release an anniversary album reuniting to release a song commemorating this date.
That said, here is their discography:

La introducción parece Yoru ni Kakeru combinado con algún tema relativamente actual de Eve, si Yoasobi fuera coreana sacaría esta canción.
Esta canción respira, dice y grita el estilo de música de GFriend, pero no siento que recompensa el hecho de haber esperado tantos años para un comeback luego de que estas se hayan separado. Apesar de que actitudinalmente hayan podido encontrar harmonía para volver a juntarse como grupo, no lo siendo vocalmente.
Quedó muy claro que las chicas individualmente son muy capaces vocalmente y en todo momento se sintió que practicaron, sin embargo, algunas veces se sentía que la voz que entraba quedaba fuera de lugar con respecto a la anterior No encuentro conexión entre voces en algunas partes de la canción.
El apartado instrumental está bien, suele ser el que el grupo ha utilizado en otras canciones sumado a una mezcla un poco más moderna pareciéndose más al pop japonés que al pop coreano actual.
No termina de convencerme vocalmente, instrumentalmente creo que está bien, pero como dije antes, no recompensa la espera de tantos años y el impacto de la noticia de que se iban a reunir. 5/10
The intro sounds like Yoru ni Kakeru combined with some relatively current Eve track, if Yoasobi were Korean she would release this song.
This song breathes, speaks and screams GFriend's style of music, but I don't feel it rewards the fact that we waited so many years for a comeback after they split up. Attitudinally they may have been able to find the harmony to come back together as a group, but not vocally.
It was very clear that the girls individually are very capable vocally and at all times it felt like they practised, however, sometimes it felt like the voice coming in was out of place compared to the previous one. I can't find a connection between voices in some parts of the song.
The instrumental section is fine, it's usually what the band has used in other songs, plus the mix is a bit more modern, more like Japanese pop than current Korean pop.
It doesn't quite convince me vocally, instrumentally I think it's fine, but as I said before, it doesn't reward the wait of so many years and the impact of the news that they were going to reunite. 5/10
Si esta canción hubiera sido la introducción de un álbum de 12 canciones hubiera sido distinto el enfoque que le daría para puntuarla.
Este Side-B se queda muy corto. Intenta ser una canción moderna con samples y bajos en el estribillo, pero la adición del violín que acompaña, que es característico en canciones de GFriend creo que fue de las peores cosas de la canción. No siento que acompañe bien ni la instrumental, ni las vocales.
Hablando particularmente de las vocales, no se sienten para nada en comparación de la canción principal. Tampoco tiene algún elemento la haga destacar por sobre otras canciones del mismo género, ni siquiera es pegadiza.
Tengo el sentimiento de que esta podría ser la última canción de un álbum de 10 a 12 canciones, pero no creo que sea suficiente para hacerla pasar por un Side-B de un álbum de 2 canciones. 3/10.
If this song had been the introduction to a 12-song album I would have taken a different approach to rating it.
This Side-B falls far short. It tries to be a modern song with samples and bass in the chorus, but the addition of the accompanying violin, which is characteristic of GFriend's songs, I think was one of the worst things about the song. I don't feel it accompanies either the instrumental or the vocals well.
Particularly speaking about the vocals, they don't feel at all in comparison to the main song. It also doesn't have any element that makes it stand out from other songs in the same genre, it's not even catchy.
I have a feeling that this could be the last song on a 10-12 song album, but I don't think it's enough to pass as a Side-B of a 2 song album. 3/10

Varios de los miembros de este grupo han participado en otros grupo proyecto como lo son por ejemplo Dae Hyeon en RAINZ y Produce 101, el miembro Dong Han en el grupo proyecto JBJ o el miembro Yo Han en el grupo proyecto 1The9.
A pesar de que algunos de sus miembros hayan debutado como solistas en los años 2018 y 2019, como grupo logran debutar en 2020.
A pesar de haber oído sobre este grupo, no tengo conocimiento de ninguna canción sobre ellos, por lo cual este análisis será un primer acercamiento a este grupo de chicos.

La canción comienza de una forma curiosa con un violín y un ritmo algo tropical con percusiones y chasquidos de dedos. Este ritmo de mantiene mientras los miembros comienzan a introducirse para cantar.
El build up es simple, se detienen las percusiones y comienza a sonar el estribrillo. El mismo tiene un ritmo totalmente difrente, introduciendo una guitarra eléctrica para que forme parte de la melodía principal.
Tanto el segundo verso como el segundo estribillo son iguales al primero. En un momento se nos introducen al puente donde nuevamente la guitarra eléctrica es protagonista de un pequeño solo instrumental, lo que me pareció bueno si hubiera durado más.
Me parece una canción normal, pero muy floja para una apertura de EP. Como el nombre de la canción lo indica, no fue suficiente.
