What’s up, Hive? It’s been a couple of days since I’ve been able to sit down and write. I’m juggling a lot at the moment. Plenty of life stuff that I’m dealing with, and financial shit, like all of us that rely on crypto for anything, I’m sure. The Cancer birthdays are beginning! @lovejoy just celebrated this week and my own @guthrie’s birthday was today. We hung out all day and once the sun went down, we watched SAW 7 together on the projector. We’ve been working our way through the entire series since SAW X comes out in September. We just started getting to the bad ones now, lol.
I have a few new photos to share from a shoot in early 2022. I was in Los Angeles in February of that year and had a packed schedule. It was the first month or two since the world was trying to get back to some semlance of normal after COVID so I wasn’t surprised how many west coast clients were looking to book sessions. As things got filled up and the calendar was getting tight, my friend Ashley and I texted to see if we could fit something in together. We’ve been long time Instagram friends but we’d never met and we’d never collaborated.
My last day there, I had booked an amazing little bohemian bungalow at the peak of Topanga Canyon. The window to shoot was small and early. I had to be out by 11:00a.m., and bless her heart, she managed to drive across LA at 6:30a.m. to be there as the sun was coming up. She brought some great wardrobe looks and accessories. Her sheer talent, this stunning location and excellent attire made for an incredibly memorable morning. We got everything in in 90 minutes or so. From there, I packed up, dropped her off at her car and made my way to the airport. Total pro, and such a darling.
Tomorrow, the kickboxing gym is closed and the birthdays will pause [until mine next week]. I have some client work I need to get to; illustration for a change, which is nice. @tarotbyfergus just did a reading on his Patreon about Venus being in retrograde and I’m sure that’s causing some shit right now. Using another tarot analogy, many of my friends are going trough their Tower moments in life right now. I’m doing my best to roll with the punches but that definitely includes me. I’m hoping for a relaxing, productive day at @caffetto tomorrow. Have a great night, everyone!
