“Rose Family Flowers”

"Red, pink, yellow... there are many colorful roses. I like their smell very much. Their colors are very vivid. They look like someone painted them without telling me.

I often remember the 'Queen of Hearts' from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland every time I see roses. She made her assistant paint white roses red because she was upset. Using imagination in my garden makes me happy."

Japanese meadowsweet or Japanese spiraea called Shimotsuke (シモツケ). They are very beautiful and cheerful.

Potentilla: They suddenly make flowers from last year.

Japanese Rose Hip: I love eating, smelling, drinking, watching them.

I love red rose very much!

「バラ科の花々」

赤、ピンク、黄色…。バラの花にはたくさんの色がありますね。いい香りです。色鮮やかです。わたしが見ていない間に、誰かが色を塗ったのかと思うくらい鮮やかです。

バラを見ると、「不思議の国のアリス」のハートの女王が、白いバラを見て怒って家来に全て赤に塗り替えるように命令したシーンを思い出します。庭でそんな想像をすると楽しいです。

シモツケ: とてもキレイで、かわいらしい花です。

キジムシロ属: 突然去年から花をつけ始めました。

ハマナス: 食べるのも、飲むのも、においをかぐのも、見るのも好きですです。

赤いバラとても好きです。
